I've been looking at Scuttlebugs, they had them slightly cheaper in Debenhams but all gone! http://tinyurl.com/26mnr73

Thanks for the link. Tempted!

it looks like the price has already gone back up to £18.74, still not bad though.

Just had a look at these in Argos, they're only for 1-3 year olds, which means my 2 year old is probably not going to get a lot of use. Pity, looks fun. States 12 months + on Amazon site, so thought I'd post just in case anybody buys that has an older toddler. Good price, so heat added.

Different colours on the Argos site: http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500002451&langId=-1&searchTerms=SCUTTLEBUG Can't see any in my area though :(

There was a Playskool "Play As You Grow" (not sure if that's the name) trike for younger kids (3+) which can be adapted as they grow up. Was looking at it in TJ Hughes earlier. £29.99 from £39.99 if I remember right.

Bought pne of these for my petit 3 year old last week (2 for £26 at debenhams) she loves it. Not suitable for a tall 3 year old but for a 2 year old great fun.

Get it out on the quiet streets back under the buggy at the busy ones.

I actually walked round to my Debenhams and couldn't see any on display? I'll give them a phone tomorrow. My niece's 1st is on Monday!!

The foldability of the Scuttlebug sounds great! All good reviews on Amazon. I was going to get her a ride-on but this seems better.

Wonder if the Scramblebug is better (think this is a newer version)? Anyone know? http://tinyurl.com/2uvt5k5 I wanted to get a pink Scuttlebug anyway, and this one is a few quid more than Amazon's £20.79. £24.49 delivered.

Lilac is £10 off RRP and has 4 wheels instead of 3. The other colours, Blue, Orange, Yellow are slightly more expensive (£27.99).

You even get a video clip of how it folds on here: http://www.quicksmartbaby.com/scramble-bug/

I was in costco on wednesday and they have them for £17. They are quite small, my 16 month old would be too big as he's quite tall

Ah man that looks cool.......do they do an adult size X)

These are cool - my 20month old loves his. I got mine from Amazon about 8 months ago for £12.00....

Thanks OP! ordered one for my 1 year old!

Sorry, Louiselouise it was in fact slightly more than 2 weeks ago and they were 30% off + buy one get one half price.

Worthing Debehams had lots of them.

My 3 year old loves hers - and the wheels are much better than those on the 4 wheels which remind me of a tv cabinet or similar.

Yeh, I went with the newer, more expensive Scramblebug (posted earlier). Not that I'm being haughty about it but I can't seem to get a pink Scuttlebug for a decent price! (Works out more at other places).

The Debenhams near me has a tiny Toy section, surprising as it's such a big store. You got a great deal though!

As for your comment about the Scramblebug's 4 wheels, if you compare the Aussie quicksmartbaby site and the Amazon site's pictures, the wheels look slightly different. Getting good reviews so far. It's only been out a month or so; maybe why the Scuttlebug is reduced.

Have you seen the Scramblebug and Scuttlebug side by side/in use to compare the two, seeing as you think the wheels are inferior? You can't really judge from pictures, so if you haven't it's only an assumption. I've asked on Amazon.co.uk to make sure.

Some said on Amazon once the Scuttlebug gets a lot of outdoors play the wheels get very bumpy; they're the sort of wheels you find on items on "skater" sites and two-wheeled scooters. My niece had a two-wheeled scooter (hated the thing as it was so flimsy and looked dangerous).

If I don't like the look of the Scramblebug I'll send it back!
