Use code 'BESTBLU' to get Moon for £7.99.

An isolated lunar astronaut begins to lose his grip on reality in this cerebral sci-fi thriller with one heck of a twist.

Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) is just two weeks away from finishing a lengthy, lonely contract mining Earth's primary source of energy, Helium-3, on the dark side of the moon. Thanks to a glitch in the communications satellite, Sam's only companion on this trip is Gerty (voiced by Kevin Spacey), the base's unsophisticated computer, and the odd recorded message sent from home. As his contract nears termination, Sam starts suffering from crippling headaches and vivid hallucinations, which lead to a near-fatal accident in a lunar rover. But while he's recovering back at the base, he makes a shocking discovery: a younger version of himself has arrived to fulfil the same contract Sam started all that time ago. Is the second Sam just another hallucination or something altogether more sinister?

Winner of the BAFTA Award for Outstanding Debut By A British Director.

Why don't you post a deal that isn't this film then? Don't whine about a good product that many want at a new price when you don't make the effort to contribute nothing more than criticism.

Great film - great soundtrack. Only wish it was a double pack.

It is a bit like the band of brothers box set that had a new hot deal several times a week though... I'm sure it is the best deal available and will help out some people though so no point in having a go at the OP!

great film - just brought it. My first Bluray

I've got the DVD, fell a sleep after 30 minutes in, but I saw the last 15minutes. Review....I'm afraid it didn't change my life!

Great film, but *please* consider trimming the description. Best enjoyed without any clues if you can avoid them.

HMV are doing the box set of the 4 alien films and I think all the predator films for only £12

:p

if there is a single person who hasn't already got this darn moon film then i'll buy it for them just to see the back of this deal !

I agree - I can never understand why folks to post spoilers in deals when copying the descriptions - although in this case it seems whoever wrote the description hasn't seen the film!

I really enjoyed this first time around and it was worth the £3.99 or whatever I paid on for the DVD; but must admit I fell asleep watching it a second time with my wife.

Great acting, great dialogue, great cinematography, great atmosphere (no pun intended). Granted, the story might not be massively complex but it doesn't need to be any more than that - it's a great, slow burning movie buffs movie.

Ah forget it, you wouldn't understand :P

Hi - this seems a goofd deal to me. I have a USA PS3 - does anyone know if this blu-ray will work on it? (I have tried looking at Play for the region coding but can't see it anywhere).

Any info would be much appreciated.
