Great film that won't need watching twice and agree Blu(e) ray won't benefit over DVD.

Miles better picture and sound quality on this blu-ray. If you have the right equipment of course.

An absolutely brilliant, stunning, thought provoking film that demands multiple viewings, and one of the very few films that made made me feel an emotional bond with the main character when he finally grasped the reality of his situation (dont wanna give out any spoilers).
Proves thought provoking compulsive viewing movies can still be made on a shoestring budget, although admittedly the vehicles on the moon looked like leftovers from Space 1999 on bluray.......

Ignore the "dvd will do" comments, they obviously haven't watched it on blu-ray. Stunning.

The point being it doesn't add anything to the story. It isn't going to make the film MORE enjoyable.

Oh I see, now I get it, and there was me thinking that a film thats crap on VHS would be good on DVD and amazing on Blu-ray...

Great movie and at £5 for a blu-ray then it's super hot :)

Cheers OP

Great deal, will check Morrisons on the way to work.

Cheers!

It looked stunning on blu-ray, one of my favourite transfers, and the haunting Clint Mansell score really shines on blu-ray

Clearer visuals and great sound always makes for a better film experience, no matter what the film is.

everyone has different taste. i got a load of blu-rays that people think are rubbish film "Taken" for instance. I loved the film on dvd so got the blu-ray. With DTS-HD & 1080p it was awesome.

So this is very good price for those people who enjoyed this movie. this site isnt about review but for bargain. Have some heat op for the bargain!!

Loved the movie but my dear wife would say it was utterly boring. Off to try and get this on my way home, thanks OP.

BTW, for those saying it won't be better on Blu Ray than DVD, I watched the 2009 Star Trek last night on Blu Ray, playing it on a Panasonic TX-P46G15, using a Sony BDP-360 player and Samsung HW-C560S amp and speakers .... all of which have been bought via recommendations / deals on this site! The quality of the Blue Ray picture over the DVD is noticeable, Can't say the same for the audio as my ears are shot from too much Motorhead.

I'd rather have BR over DVD ...

I don't quite agree with that.

I saw a guy in CEX the other day buying Salo on blu ray and I don't know why anybody would want to watch a film like that in High Definition.

Because it's better than standard definition?...
#38
Salo is likely better if you don't watch it at all but after seeing Hostel on Bluray, I've realised that there are some films that I just dont want to watch in HD.
#39
Has anyone apart from the starter of this thread actually bought this for £5?
#40
