Purchased this a few days ago and I was a little concerned with a few of the user reviews on the Argos website saying it was flimsy and not very powerful but I then looked at all of the positive reviews and decided to go ahead and buy.

We had a Henry before this and I must say that this is a lot more powerful and sucks up a lot more dirt, dust and most importantly dog hair (I don't know how our boxer has any hair left on him with the amount he sheds!).

All in all a great little vacuum and very powerful. Also, great that you can turn the power up and down as I found we didn't need it on full power - about half was good enough.

cheers. Have been trawling stores looking for a decent hoover. Will go on your recommendations.

as above
looks like a great machine and costs loads more everywhere else
ordered and can be delivered for £5.95 even though it says it can't on the front page
quidco tracked too
thanks and HNY!

I bought this last year and best vacuum I've ever had. Great price!

Agree - great little machine until you've owned it for a few months. Unfortunately it has a design floor where it gets blocked up and cannot be unblocked. I had two then gave up and went back to Miele. Be warned.

I have one of these, they're pretty good but the dust filter gets clogged up really quickly and often (each cleaning session) needs to be banged out. Without doing this, suction is massively reduced. That said, I find it a pretty good little unit - kinda wish I'd got a Dyson but I don't have much carpet so whats the point. THATS WHAT SHE SAID.

thought this was the one i have at home but found out its not. I like my "dirt devil 1500w" as it came with 2 filters so one can be washed and thrown in the airing cupboard while i can still use the vacuum with the second filter.

Sorry to go off topic, but how do you wash yours? So much dirt stuck into the creases, I find it a pain in the butt!

Seems good to me

I bought this a couple of months ago for just under £50 from Argos and it is the business. Powerful, easy to use and empty and I would not say flimsy in the least. The telescopic tubes are metal.
