Would be better if it had an AUTO function that has the HIGH for a while and then swaps over to low as a lot of receipes do mention this.

Still, a good price for a 3.5l pot - easily enough for a chili to feed a family of 4 for 2 days! Mmmmmmmm

AUTO would be handy but this is still a great price for an ACCENTS product ;)

No it doesn. it just has the low > high settings. Its a brilliant little slow cooker though, and hot at this price. We bought this very model last year and we love it. It's a nice looking and well made little cooker. Everyone has their own specialities with these, ours is homemade soups (especially chicken). I can not recommend this product highly enough - HOT

I have this slow cooker, its great and bigger than it seems. It cooks things a bit faster than my old one so would recommend to use the LOW setting mostly.

That is a stonking good price. I've just bought the 6.5l one from Argos, £19.89 I think, but would rather have had this one! Wish it was a little lower on the wattage, does seem to get very hot on the outside, I think it could be more efficient.

Spooky, been uhmming and ahhing about a slow cooker for a couple of weeks now, this has helped me decide to purchase. Thanks OP :)

Trouble with these slow cookers is every meal tastes pretty much the same, regardless of what meat you use. I've always been disappointed with the results.

Excellent - got one of these a while ago. Get one while you can. Winter will be here before you know it!!!!!oO

How can you say that? How can, say, a beef bourginoun taste the same as a chicken curry?

I love these things. Gets more use than the microwave in our family.

Just me, but I'd always have it in the back of my head that I'd left something electrical cooking in the house when no one was around. I understand that there are safety features but a good percentage of house fires are electrical. Voted hot though as it's a good price.

BTW this Rival Crockpot (apparently America's 'No.1 brand') has gone now from Currys website, but they are still available instore as I picked one up today. We already have a cheap make slow cooker with a small capacity but I couldn't resist this once I saw the size of it!
