YEP - Highly recommended by me too, I have one and it's great, all washable filters no need to buy paper ones, the timer function is fantastic, fill it up before I go to bed and when I wake up I have a nice jar of freshly brewed coffee waiting for me.

we have one as well, got it at this price last year, asda and tesco have both had it for £25 recently so dont think the full price is a real one.

Great deal if you can get it?
Out of stock at all N. Ireland Argos stores:x

Anyone tempted must read review on Amazon, lots of buyers complains of foul taste?

Hey. So are these sort of coffee makers better than TASSIMO. I understand this requires coffee beans and tassimo requires pods, where I can also make other hot drinks with tassimo. I'm torn between this and the tassimo...

Thanks for this, exactly what I've been after

Those reviews you mention are for a different listing albeit with the same photograph. This model is actually listed as a Mattino and has 3 reviews as follows:

I had 16 people coming for a buffet lunch and I thought I could never cope making coffee for them all in my little caffetiere so I decided to buy this coffee maker. What a brilliant machine! You just put one dessertspoon of coffee in for each cup (it makes anything from 2 - 12 cups) and the right amount of water which is all marked out on the resevoir, then push one button and hey presto in a few minutes (up to 7 for 12-cup amount) you have a jug full of great coffee. Not only that, it keeps it piping hot on the hotplate for 2 hours and then auto turns off as a safety feature but you can just push the button again and it continues to keep it hot. I really wish I had bought ones ages ago as it makes life so much easier and it can even be programmed on its timer to make the coffee at any time you choose so you can wake up to freshly made coffee in the morning!

Allows you the option of manual or automatic use. Using manually, it's no different from any other coffee filter. To use automatically, simply put the coffee and water in, set the clock to the time you want your coffee, press a button and leave it. Switches on at the preset time -so if you want, you can get up or arrive home, to freshly brewed coffee. Large 12 cup capacity, permanent filter, thermostatic hotplate - what more could you want?

I bought this for my coffee addicted husband as a gift. He loves it and uses it every day. It is simple to use and has a timer so you can wake up to the wonderful aroma of fresh made coffee!!It is a good feature for those that don't have time to make it first thing in the morning. We have had it for quite a while and have had no problems with it at all.

Nice - ordered one.

Just to let you know, picked mine up today and also used today.
Fantastic machine, could not wish for a better coffee maker especially for what you are paying for it!! The coffee comes out piping hot and tastes lovely, I have a feeling you will not need the very best coffee either, unlike some coffee machines.
I also have a gaggia - I paid £300 for it - ever wished you had saved your money? I sure do.
I also read the reviews on Amazon re the plastic taste, I can only say that they must have got the reviews mixed up with another machine.

No it's just like a coffee filter, no fancy tricks! I got mine the other day, it's great although I must be using big mugs as the 12 cup indicator only makes about 6 cups for me! :?
