Birta filters are nearly completely useless and dont do much (tested in lab and variuos methods), so... these wont be any better. Yes you will get 20 to 30% cleaner water (not more in ANY case), but most dangeriuos chemicals will remain in tap water.

146 days days, 3 hours, 14 minutes and 27 seconds. Depends where you buy then from. Google.

I have this kettle, you get 30 days per cartridge with a countdown time on the handle. I find I can go 6 weeks or more before i start to get the scum on top of the tea and we're in a hard water area. You can pay £15 for 6 cartridges if you can find a really good deal, but usually it's around £15 for 4.

Got this kettle pretty much new and sealed from amazon warehouse deals for £10. Also paid £5 for 3 cartridges from amazon warehouse deals too. The kettle is pretty good tbh.
