i know these 97p clearance deals are not avaliable to all, but i have checked stock local to my family and 3 of the 9 stores have them avaliable to reserve (borehamwood, enfield & friern barnet) so i say its not a bad ratio and stock is avaliable.

my wife just came home from our local currys with 2 of these, even though no stock was displayed online (she was picking up the vax 301 anyway).

not sure about a link so product code is 703912

also in stock at milton keynes

OK. Here's the blurb:
http://www.morphyrichards.co.uk/ProductDetail.aspx?Product=70330

And here's a review:
http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/vacuum-cleaner/morphy-richards-spillmaster-70330/1161733/

Sounds like the attachment slips off very easily from the hose and is only held on by the power of the vacuum cleaner's suction. It won't actually leave the floor dry, even a hard surface, so you'll have to get that cloth out after all.

For 97p how can the item be slated!!!!

CHECK IN STORE!!!!

I visited my local store today to pick up my reserved spillmaster (it said on the internet that there was 1 left in stock and after I reserved it it showed 0 left in stock). However, when I got to the store there were 6 left on the shelf. 5 were boxed and 1 was a display model.

I asked the sales colleague how many were left in stock and she said 1, however she too had noticed there were still boxes there on the shelf so she asked me to pass her one of the other boxes and it scanned as 6 in stock, so I assume its because some of the boxes had a second barcode on which showed stock levels unique to the other barcode.

I hope this makes sense???

I managed to get one at my local store and was surprised that this wasn't a "battery operated" device, instead it just connects to your normal vaccum cleaner...

Since I live in a house with 2 (old) cats, one of which is 'sickly' I am often cleaning up her mess and usually use a rechargable Black and Decker Wet & Dry cleaner..

It looks nicely made and has a very sophisticated mecahnism and thought it might be idea.. But I gave it a go and had almost no suction.. I could have done better sucking my mouth using a drinking straw...

Looking at the complex design, I would expect it to turn the 'dry' suction of my vaccum, into wet.. But I get almost nothing.

Am I missing something? Has anyone else found it to be effective?

:) Oh yes.. It did come across like that....

Has anyone else tried theirs? Do you get ANY suction at all?? Even in a test, with a bit of water on a tiled floor.. It just doesn't give the impression that there is much force behind the suction!
