Since Sainsburys have stopped their Taste The Difference range being included in the lunchtime deal I thought I'd give you a heads up about what Morrison's offer. If you've not been in Morrison's for a while I think you'd be pleasantly surprised at what you can get.

£3 gets you the usual main, snack & drink but the range is massive and includes some really nice stuff (salads, large sushi, multipack sandwiches, hot food, loads of really good snacks , full size drinks, coffees... etc). I doubt Morrison's are making anything, I've had discounts of almost a fiver on one meal. IMO they were much better than the Sainsburys deal even before they stopped the posh sandwiches so now it's a no brainer.

I read about the big Sainsbury change. Apparently the sandwich supplier to Sainsbury's only had Sainsbury as their big customer, so basically whatever Sainsburys wanted they got. This supplier has just taken on contracts with other supermarkets and stores, Boots being one, and has basically told Sainsbury where to go. The new supplier to Sainsbury's is very muchcost cutting hence the rubbish you now see there.

Sorry to take this a little off topic, I prefer Morrison's either way!

And don't forget, with Morrisons, you can have their medium salad bar as the main item.

Thanks, I've become a shopping geek lately, and genuinely find this stuff interesting ( should I really have said that? Ha) :)

If you think £300 for those are a bargain, can I interest you in my used underpants for £250?

That offer is not to be sniffed at .

Problem is there are far less Morrison's than Sainsburys and no locals such as Sainsbury's.

i love the morrisons meal deal- you can have the medium salad tray(as someone else said) plus as a snack you can have strawberries and cream plus they have the coconut drinks (vita coco 330ml) which are nearly £2 each (not that I would pay that) all for £3. Get in my basket!

This deal relates to the Food To Go section of the store, not the Café

You do realise most of what you eat will have been made through mass produced methods.

Nothing bad about that. It is how we get good, safe, affordable foods.

Not any more. Morrisons somehow fouled it up, and sold them to another company. Then that company couldn't save them either and now they've all closed - the last ones went about two months ago! My nearest one is going to be a Co-op but is still empty at the moment.

always plenty of choice and good value at £3...heat added

Very good, sometimes drive a few miles to my nearest for this. Freshly made granola/yogurt/raspberries instead of a bag of smegging bag of crops - get in!

Also a good item included in this deal is the large sushi tray. Over 10 items and I think costs £3.00 on it's own.

That's more than David Beckham charges for a pair of his underpants plus they're clean too!

Big fan of the Sausage/chicken/bacon/gravy/stuffing number with pretty much ANY drink in the fridge and one of the fruit shakers. Three quid is brilliant.

Nothing beats the meal deal at Boots imo. :D

Also a good item included in this deal is the large sushi tray. Over 10 items and I think costs £3.00 on it's own.

This morning, I picked a Sushi tray (235g), a large cup of fresh strawberries with cream and an Innocent Super Smoothie (360ml). All for £3.00, a real bargain.

I like how they have got a prepared one in front of them on a raised panel to show them how the sandwich should look.
