Providing they've not changed their rules again as they're absolutely awful for making up the rules where accepting competitors vouchers are concerned.

Even different stores, and staff, change their minds, what's allowed one moment, can suddenly be 'non' the next. If they've had a bad day etc, it must affect things - some of the staff are golden, others are just customer disservice.

I scan any coupons given to me at my till, if the computer takes it then I dont see why I should say no.
But we do get weekly notes coming around saying which coupons not to take,
I know we still take Sainsburys, and I will check today at the store i work in if we will be taking these. Hopefully they will know x

Same here Beth but for some reason our managers are a bit slow and we never get told until either someone scans one or we get asked if we accept them, then they decide whether we can accept or not, ususally depends on which manager i on at the time

This seems to be the issue in that managers don't communicate with the staff on checkouts. Every so often I used to send an email to the chief executives office for clarification, which usually provided a quick response which I printed and took with me when shopping, but now that the chief executive has changed, I don't know which email address to use.

I'm not sure why Tesco would continue to accept Sainsbury's coupons but then suddenly stopped accepting Farmfoods ones. In it's quest for global domination, surely taking customers away from all other retailers should be the aim.

The last time I used this voucher in Tesco they tried to refuse it, untill I pointed out the 6'x3' banner outside in the carpark saying Morrisons spend and save vouchers accepted here!
Stand your ground people.

farmfoods are possibly the one store that i can see why they would not match it
farmfoods offer 10% off EVERY week, its not a special offer and they can factor in the cost of this into their prices accordingly.
they used to take lidl ones in my local.
lidl didn't raise their prices on the days it was active to compensate so they 'took a hit' which tesco would match. in the farmfoods case there is no hit to take.
not that they take lidl ones anymore pff

Vouchers are valid for use at Audio/techno counters, but £40 must all be spent in the single transaction. Cannot use seperate purchases to make up £40 spend at main tills.
