Morrisons £8.00 festive meal deal starts thursday!

New meal deal only on thursday and friday! It's a salmon starter, piece of beef, veg pack (the same as the £4 one) and a chocolate trifle all for £8! Not totally sure of the price seperately but with beef and salmon I'm sure it's a good saving! Hope this is helpful for someone :D

Looks good to me. We had the last one and it was OK. Pork was a bit bland and the veg looked as if it was cheap, but overall, it was worth the £4. The trifle was very nice

This looks a very good deal too

smashing deal gotta try this one

I was told about this by a morrison member of staff and she said it was £4

I'd also heard off a friend on the butchers counter that the £4 deal from last week will make a comeback this week, only with beef this time. This appears to be that deal. I'm back in work tomorrow, i'll try to find out more.

Thanks OP sounds like a great deal.
The last deal (pork etc) was fabulous, we had them for our sunday roast yesterday, the meat was very tasty and the veg very fresh and high quality, the carrots were lovely small fresh and sweet. Brussels good too. Soup great and trifle...tops!!
All in all a fabulous deal...hope this one lives up to our expectations lol
well done Morrison's for giving the two super powers in my neck of the woods (milton keynes) some food for thought!!!

guys, unfortunately this deal is not 100% known till tuesday... talking to managers today at my store where i work... i can try find out by tonite, but i think if it doesnt go ahead, a new type of deal will go ahead next week, called 'hamper style'

is this to serve 2 or for 4?

i would say 4
the thing that annoys me is they would only let me buy one meal deal last week but there is 7 of us,so was not enough.they should make exceptions for larger families

or you could have bought the extra amounts needed to feed 7, and been thankful that you got the meal for 4 of you at a very reduced price.

it's an excellent deal, they are trying to help many, and lots of us didn't even get the one meal!

The best part of the last deal was the soup. Was supposed to be Morrisons Best Tomato and Basil soup but was substituted by New Covent Garden. Brilliant.

Thank You

The worst part for us was the soup - Morrisons Best Tomato and Basil - I prefer Heinz .

Why couldn't we have the New Covent Garden soup. :x

The trifle was nice. :)

They didnt have it at my store....

the veg pack was 80p, trifle was £149 and soup was £1.60 each

they said there was no pork so i guess they decided to sell the other stuff anyway....

They sell this stuff anyway so if the pork runs out what do you think they do with the extra stock? The people who supply the stock always send in odd amounts so you'll always get odd ones left over and then you have to allow for spillages especially with things like soup and trifle.

If anyone really wants this deal I would seriously suggest getting there as early as possible! We get loads of this come in first thing so you shouldn't miss out then. I had people all sunday asking for the pork deal when we had run out by lunchtime on the saturday!

 Got 4 of the Pork last week, the freezer is almost full !
#27
Why is this one £8 ?

probably because a fillet of beef is a much more expensive cut than a pork loin.

Me and my husband went twice and I got two for us and two for my sister. The Covent Garden Soup is very much like a pasta sauce. Was a lovely deal - you need to get there early - but if you are too early it may not be out yet. It's luck. Good luck too all!

I know but the soup says the £4 deal on the front but it was £1.60 each and no deal

and there were thousands of trifles/veg packs/soups and no pork anywhere.....i was there very early too :?

This is my very FIRST post lol Only found this site last week, primarily because I havent really done internet shopping till n ow. Anyway - first of all the offer..... Sounds fandabidozi, and why not go out the shop and go back in to get two deals? As long as you dont go to the same checkout ,tho I doubt if the member of staff would really care lol.:whistling:

All together as in on the shelves? We had all of ours on a promo end so it was all together. Not like the stupid bbq deals where you have to hunt out all of the items

Yes, it was all together.

In our local store it was near the butchers at the end of one isle, vegetables just around the corner.

Cheers! Went last sunday but found only pork and veg pack at their own shelves, must be too late!
