#4
Nationwide or just at the OP's branch?
#5
If this weather gets much worse, will need it very soon!
#6
Best keep it in the fridge until winter as the butane propellent will have leaked off by then. Unless you live in a cold place now of course.

;-)

Wouldn't have this even for free.... this stuff bugg*ers your windscreen seals
#8
Nice find, although I'm not a lover of the stuff prefer warm water. Heat added.
#9

why would the butane of leaked?
#15
screw this, the plastic bottle is ftw. nothing worse than an ice cold morning trying to hold these frozen cans to spray on....
#16
great price for de-icer, but this one is pants imho after trying it. B&Q extreme stuff is better, but nothing beats using warm water and then quicky switching on the wipers :)

Max-Power
but nothing beats using warm water for cracking your windscreen on a frosty morning
Fixed that for you ;)

Only 8p in Kings Lynn too. (marked as 78p though)

Not really. I have a heated windscreen. :p

Plunn - I have a man servant to clear my screen and warm my seat for me!
#21
I bet this isn't nationwide...

Meaning I would have to drive 400 miles for some de-icer. For me, cold, but for some might be useful so will not vote

Has he a sister who is also into spanking? 8)

I can't drive but I get the pleasure of helping my husband clear ice. This would mean that I can leave him to freeze on his own , HOT from me!

Its not nationwide East Kilbride and Kings Lynn only!
#25
I know I shouldn't complain at 8p, but this stuff isn't all that clever.

I ended up spending an extra quid or two in the winter just gone and got some Prestone de-icer, it was worth the extra cash. If you do get this, please remember the saying "buy cheap, buy twice".

I do....

It's called England.

Looks like snow is on the way for July, as we had the best weather in April. :D

pour boiling water directly onto your windows does the same thing and better.

And anyone doing this please feel free to do it to leedale after the window breaks.

Terrible advice.. that's the easiest way to crack your windscreen. Do NOT pour boiling water onto a frozen windscreen, it will result in thermal stock/thermal expansion, and could leave you with a cracked/shattered windscreen. Best to have the water just a little warmer than room temperature.
#30
heat given :)
#31
Not only is there a risk of cracking the windscreen, boiling water freezes quicker than cold

Another deal that is only available to a tiny part of the population. Just a suggestion but maybe HOTUK DEALS, needs to find a system, where deals are rated on value for money and accessibility. Not suggesting that local deals are ignored, but as an additional thought, maybe when people login, as part of of the features offered, there may be a way of identifying local deals based on the the persons current location. That way, they can individually decide if something is worth pursuing!

Oh... and back to the issue of the de-icer, good find for a lucky few.
#36
I'm gonna post a deal for cheap PS3's in Comet Outer Hebrides and see how hot it gets (_;)
#37

Its already been confirmed that its in 2 different places in opposite ends of the country.Im going to go out on a limb and suggest the deal might also be in a few other places in between.

Yawn, more HUKD'ers who can't be bothered to go find a deal and sit on their bums moaning on the internet.

Picked up 10 600ml cans in Rogerstone (South Wales/Newport) earlier today.

@Sandasavin - your idea is largely unworkable. Firstly it would over complexify the site. Secondly, the deals would simply disappear quicker if they were posted with GPS locations in a "Voucher Cloud" style app, then you'd be moaning it said there was a deal across the road from you and you didn't catch it in time.

They had these in my local for 8p, but decided it was not worth the saving.
