you dont have to purchase the whole deal to get the item for this price. you can buy each item seperately they are just at a different price because they are part of the breakfast deal

cos people might just want the eggs and not the rest of the stuff. £1-50 for a dozen free range eggs is a cracking price on its own.

Exactly I didnt buy any other parts of the meal deal so its either a glitch or they simply dont mind you buying the eggs at 50p either way I dont care I got 12 free range eggs for £1.50 :whistling:

Thanks for this OP

They should make a 4 pack standard, I don't eat that many eggs and would like them sometimes. I buy a 6 pack and eat 4 and finish the last two on or just after the Best Before.

True.. but if this deal caught my eye because I want to buy some eggs to make something else other than breakfast, then why would I want to look on a 'breakfast deal' thread'?

FWIW.. I think these 4 packs of eggs are very handy for the occasional egg user such as my self.. voted hot!!

You can extend their shelf life by hard boiling them. Leave them in their shells once cooked. Use in salads or sandwiches over the next week.

really thats allowed? ok ill try it.

PS: I've never actually boiled an egg in my life! I just fear ill crack it open and itl splosh.

even for 50p, the quality of these eggs are awful

This is a great deal, the only decent component of the 'breakfast deal

If you refrigerate the eggs they'll last at LEAST a week beyond the use by date. To test the egg, put it in the bottom of a jug of water. A very fresh egg will lie flat. A still fresh egg will stand upright on the bottom. A bad egg will float...

If you refrigerate the egg then warm it before boiling if you put it into boiling water, or it'll crack.

We don't all live near your local 'egg man'... Supermarket eggs will have been checked for genuine 'free range' and freshness too.

Good price, hot. We're always buying bigger boxes of eggs and half of them end up in the bin, so this is great. Just a shame Morrisons isn't particularly handy!

4 pack? Is this some new euro directive to ban the UK's dozen/half dozen eggs:viking:

The eggs we have dont have a best before, just the date they was laid on them written in pencil, definitely free range though, and fresher than any store/market bought eggs.

Kev im sorry mate, your not that bright are you? The breakfast deal included many items for £4, but you could buy any of the items you didn't have to buy all and you get it for that price. This is not a glitch this is how morrisons so their deals.
