Morrisons said it would be reducing petrol by at least 1p a litre and diesel by 3p a litre from Tuesday. At least 4p cuts alltogether!

Jump to unread Post a CommentCurrent petrol prices nowhere near reflect actual oil prices. We've been getting shafted by the petrol companies for years now, with them blaming the wars in the middle east when in reality they have made nowhere near as big an impact on oil prices as they're making out.
'Giving us 3p a litre back' when they've been screwing us for many, many times more than that is not a good deal.
Cold as ice.

So you would rather pay more then eh?
Yes none of us like high fuel prices but a reduction is better than nothing and certainly not a reason to vote this cold

It's hard to put the blame on the oil companies when you look at the actual breakdown of the petrol price at the pump:

Don't be fooled, companies are not in the business of bringing prices down. Customers are.

It's almost like the companies are trying to make money oO
You do realise that the Conservative-Lib Dem coalition cancelled some fuel duty rises, delayed others, and managed to actually cut fuel tax in the 2011 budget?
Go look at a chart of fuel duty prices under the last Labour administration - it was their favourite tax to put up.
You should buy your own car rather than borrowing whoever's car it is you're using.
a penny off is always good news anyway, but nx week it will probably be 2p more expensive anyway :)
