Illuminati2010Illuminati2010

Morrisons said it would be reducing petrol by at least 1p a litre and diesel by 3p a litre from Tuesday. At least 4p cuts alltogether!

Morrisons petrol director Mark Todd said: "Wholesale fuel prices are coming down and at Morrisons we always want to pass on savings as soon as we can."

    Rock on,

What a complete and utter crock of ****.

Current petrol prices nowhere near reflect actual oil prices. We've been getting shafted by the petrol companies for years now, with them blaming the wars in the middle east when in reality they have made nowhere near as big an impact on oil prices as they're making out.

'Giving us 3p a litre back' when they've been screwing us for many, many times more than that is not a good deal.

    Cold as ice.

So you would rather pay more then eh?

Yes none of us like high fuel prices but a reduction is better than nothing and certainly not a reason to vote this cold

It's hard to put the blame on the oil companies when you look at the actual breakdown of the petrol price at the pump:

Yes, it is nice that prices are coming down - but isn't it suspicious that they are doing it the day the 6p/litre off with a 40 pound spend promotion has expired? If they really wanted to give us low prices, they could have done it for the weekend.

Don't be fooled, companies are not in the business of bringing prices down. Customers are.

Down with Cameron and his Nazi party

You do realise that the Conservative-Lib Dem coalition cancelled some fuel duty rises, delayed others, and managed to actually cut fuel tax in the 2011 budget?

Go look at a chart of fuel duty prices under the last Labour administration - it was their favourite tax to put up.

So why are you happily bending over to receive a shafting everytime you need to drive anywhere?

You should buy your own car rather than borrowing whoever's car it is you're using.

The problem has always been, as soon as OIL goes up, we see an increase in Petrol instantly, when the OIL goes back down, we're still paying the same higher price for about 7-10 days later. I still think they should standardise Petrol prices because the difference in a 10/15/20 mile radius is sometimes over 5p a litre (sold by Tesco for example) which is just wrong.

a penny off is always good news anyway, but nx week it will probably be 2p more expensive anyway :)
