This is in the chiller it should be on offer at £1.75 a bottle or 2 for £2 but it is scanning at 82p a bottle but the multisave is still coming off so you get two for 14p. This will be corrected tonight when store closes so you'll have to go today. Not sure if its store specific if so it is Morrisons Tynemouth.

Can anyone confirm if this works in another Morrisons? Ta

I doubt it, it looks like they have forgot to apply the update which takes the multi save off before applying the alteration sheet which came down with the price reduction.

This happens in Waitrose often when they mark down food on Sundays. Some oranges were 1.99 for a bag with a buy one get one free offer. However, the bags were being marked down with a price gun to 89p a bag. This meant, when they went through the checkout, they came up as...

89p
89p
-£1.99 BOGOF offer

therefore, I was paid 22p for every two bags of oranges I bought. I got 6 bags, but there were at least 20 left.

Too late to try just back from Morrisons, our one is terrible with pricing but usually on the bad side, you've got to watch.

£1.49 Duracell 9v battery, clearly marked yet goes through at £3.99.

Tropicana 1.75ltr marked up at £2, but if you take the orange and mango kind it's £2.99, however no pricing at all visible..

The list goes on, only a couple quid here and there but if they are operating like this throuout the UK, then it's pretty sharp practice and sure plenty dont bother going back.

No much wonder they can sell some veg at 30p, however the carrots are not worth 10p

any problem at checkout a la pringles ?
#15
I find Morrisons is the worst supermarket for over pricing. On so many occasions I have been overcharged.
#16
working fine at coventry branch - just bought 24 bottles for £1.68

Ditto in Tesco for me - Sainsbury when I lived near one...I dare say it happens in the one you use the most - as they all seem to be computer ruled. Tho' tesco refunds at twice the difference or some such rule- when you challenge at "Customer Service" - handy if you notice AFTER you pass the checkouts.

Had no problem at all @ Solihull Morrisons

hi to all i just registered to tell you this so i hope it helps you all that get overcharged in the suppermarkets. in most supermarkets that over charge you at the tills they have to refund you your overcharge plus the same ammount so you get double back . this is most supermarkets policy. i no it works as i have done it when paying for a phone. i was overcharged by £20 in tescos there was an offer on that said spend £40 on your shopping get £20 off your phone my £20 didnt come off so went to coustomer service they all denied it as i used a self service machine and just wanted to refund me my £20. so i told them i wanted
to speek to head office who agreed that it was tescos misstake not mine after that they gave me my £20 plus £20 for being overcharged. i also seen some1 get overcharged for a tv that had been reduced but scaned at full price they gave him over £300 back. so my tip would be complain AS ITS WORTH IT.

Tesco's are terrible for overcharging, I've stopped buying food there they've anoyed me so much..

its likely Morrisons till systems still only updates on the overnight run.
I remember when they took over safeway they couldn't operate more than one pricing system, so its set price for everystore whether in acrington stanley or westminster..

clairepow09 there is no ruling law or otherwise as to offer a double refund for over chargers. it may just be an internal tesco policy thats not well advertised..

They were paying you to take the oranges but you left "at least 20" behind. Am I missing something here??

You would made a better deal buying 10 instead of 11 coz you get 1.50 off every 2 bottles :whistling:

yes you are. not everyone is greedy:p
but whats the point buying loads of oranges if you know youre not gonna eat them and are gonna go to waste. yes theres a profit but end of the day its wasting food
#34
does anyone know if does it work today?
