Excellent news, although I don't agree with reducing the price of milk as dairy farmers already get paid a pittance. Unless of course Morrisons are paying the farmers properly and absorbing the reduction as a business!

"Morrisons has also reduced the cost of a two-pack of avocados from £1.80 to £1.47.

However, the price is still 45p than Tesco which offers the same product for just £1
"

Gotta love The Sun oO

Just been in Morrison's and noticed a lot of basic items have gone up, eg. All fresh rolls have gone up, all 2 packs for a pound have finished, the baker said he had been there 8 years and its the first time they have never been on offer, bananas have gone up to 72p kilo, plus many other own label items.

Bit like lying politicians they tell you they are doing this.... while knowningly doing the complete opposite ;)

I too was in Morrisons today , as stated many items have gone up . Stuff I remember paying £1 for have now risen to £1.08 . Looks like Brexit is coming home to roost !

I worked for morrisons for many years, its pretty standard ploy for them at the start of every year.

One of the last ones i was working there for they reduced 1000 products and advertised it massively, what they didn't advertise was they put 1200 up in price...

Probably the most expensive supermarket to buy milk from before any discounts imo

This post is useless without a list of the prices.

All supermarkets put prices up for a few weeks after xmas and remove offers, it is part of the seasonal pattern.

They could cut 25% of the cost of everything they sell and they'd still be overpriced. Morrisons is carp. Give me Aldi any day.

Not just Morrisons but I went into asda yesterday and noticed nothing on offer and a lot of items are more expensive now

'Massive'? I think you're getting a bit carried away.
