Sainsburys and Morrisions have confirmed that they will reduce petrol by 2p a litre and Diesel by 1p per litre from 18/12/14.

This is in line with the reduction that Asda are also doing which has been posted on here ealier today.

Hopefully will help a few people out over Christmas

Spot-on jojo. I think they think that by offering the miles reward card (I know it's something different now) this will attract & retain customers. It might retain a few but I suggest most just look at a head-line price. They still don't get it many of these supermarkets.

Cold - they should at least match Asda and have a promise across all stations at a certain price.

My local station is £1.139, with the 2p reduction it will still be 1.2p a litre more than my local Asda.

yeah its the match and more card now. i used to use morrisons for my fuel but use sainsburys now. that 1p per ltr makes a difference when u have a big motor

The thing with Morrisons is.. They have voucherr for 20p of every litre..which is in date until the 21st of January. . So they arnt going to want to drop to much ..until after that date.x

Whereas Tesco is 1.2 dearer.
