do you know if the prices go up as the sizes go up? Sounds about average for small sizes but would be good value if it was still the same for larger sizes (like 11/12 or 12/13)

Rumour has it there testing the water...

They may finally be looking at taking on ASDA ( George ), in the cheap clothing aena...

As far as I'm aware they are one flat rate for all. My local store only went upto 9-10 in trousers tho.

supermarkets sell this sort of thing at back to school time but wont stock schoolwear all year round
thereby eventually putting specialist retailers out of business .try going back to morrisons or asda when little johnny outgrows his shorts in 6 months time ,i like a bargain but i hate them for doing this sort of thing ,i speak as a former shoe shop owner ,i couldnt buy shool pumps for the same price they sold them for !!!!

Asda have them in all year round, well the ones round here do.
Agree with what you are saying though, supermarkets totally screw small businesses, then people complain when they don't have anywhere local to go to.

Is this for the kids that don't get bullied enough?

Just looked on a wholesale site and current price for a small shopkeeper to buy schoolwear...
trousers £ 2.50
sweatshirt £ 2.00
polo shirt £ 1.60
These are not the top quality and could be had a fraction cheaper if buying 100's (Not possible for the average local clothing store), but when debenhams were clearing decent trousers etc for less than a pound earlier this year, it's no wonder the smaller stores have slowly gone out of business.
Perhaps Asda etc will stock schoolwear all year round in some stores, but the discount retailers like Matalan often heavily promote schoolwear around now, but as already mentioned you won't find any in November or February when you are stuck.
I have friends with shops in smaller towns, and if local people would even remember to buy their socks and tights locally it would help them stay open, so you can still buy something all year round and support a local family with children in many cases, rather than boost a fat cat chairman's bonus !!

I dont know. I would assume no Morrisons does clothes (prior to this) so might just be worth popping in. If its pretty small, I'd doubt it.
