Damn, I tried to post this 10mins ago but got logged out and had to repost! Just seen this... :x

Good deal though! More savings may be had if you follow these instructions:

The shirt wasn't available in my size but the discount of £122 had been added to my basket already, without the shirt being added. This meant suit and tie was only £35 ish. I managed to replicate this by selecting a different sized shirt then removing it from my basket after the discount was applied.

I then added the code 'METRO' to give me a further 20% off (this may or may not work as codes should not be applicable to this £49 deal - code seen on the MOSS site but also thanks to 'widget' for posting it on HUKD).

Altogether, suit and tie cost £28.xx delivered (my brother did it, now he's offline and I can't confirm the exact price)! Bargain! Add £15 for the shirt if available in your size, or buy a better one somewhere else for a little bit more and get to choose the style and colour!

This is what you can get online:

Mens Suit Moss Black Double Stripe BLACK
Dehavilland Plain Black Pure Silk Taffeta Tie BLACK
Dehavilland White Non-Iron Poplin Single Cuff Shirt

No other choice of styles/colours, only sizes.

Edit: 14.25, site seems to have errors - not coming up as £49 for me for the package any more?!
#3
seems like a bril deal if only it worked! Not getting the discount in basket.
#4
Comes up as: Total £165.50
#5
Me too... was looking fine as I posted ??? (explians the cold votes though)
#6
its obviously a deal they are going to do, won't vote cold yet as its not a mis-price considering the big add on there homepage, might be sorted a bit later will re check, also if the code METRO works will be even better

I was posting the deal at the same time as trying to purchase one myself (after my brother bought one and MSN'd me about it - he has his order confirmation at £48.84). Then the site stopped working while displaying my basket as £28 or so (as per my first post on here) and I was putting in my delivery address. It suddenly asked me to confirm my £160+ order!!!:x
#8
haha...maybe they prematurely published the page, it does happen, perhaps it wasn't supposed to go live yet ?
#9
The advert is no longer on the homepage! The direct link still shows up, maybe keep an eye on it for the next couple of hours and see if it works again...

By the way, this was in the Moss 'exclusives' email that my brother got through at 14.05 today. Deal seems to be either sold out or errors found in less than an hour!

Would be a good deal if it was working :).

Just phoned customer services - out of stock, website being updated. You can phone them (0870 950 7654, 9-5 Monday to Friday). You can place an order through the phone and they will send it out once available.

The lady I spoke to told me that this offer will be running for a while (couldn't confirm exact timings) and that if I couldn't find it instore at any branches over the weekend it would be fine to ring up CS on monday and place an order with them if the website was still out of stock.

so is this offer in store as well?
#13
Yes (at least thats what it said on the email)

Yes, more choice in-store (6x suits, 3x ties, 3x shirts) but maybe sold out...

A Suit Shirt and Tie for £49 although by the looks of things best thing is to print of the flyer in the link above and go a Moss store (with the BF or his measurements)
#20
its sold out online. best is to take your bf to store and try it on. i just went and they have stock there but not my size
#21

Sham there is no store in my town, this looked a great offer!

This is definitely NOT expired in store!
Went to Peterborough today and took a look instore. They had plenty in most sizes on this offer. Bizarrely it didn't seem to be promoted particularly in the front window and they seemed to be concentrating on a 3 for 2 offer instead.
Anyhow there seemed to be fairly good level of stock, particularly regular length (though all they have is what's out there apparently). Most common sizes. Six styles or suit were available - mostly variations of black and charcoal but one grey one. I could have had any of them in my size jacket - 40R which I guess must be a fairly common size.
There were also a selection of maybe 6 shirts (one fairly cheap range white one and the rest seemed to be rather odd colours) and around 6 or so largely plain ties.
I didn't buy however as there are two drawbacks:-
1- You can only have the jacket and trouser combination on the rack. The jackets are six inches more in size than the trousers. Therefore, for example a size 40R jacket comes with 34R trousers and so forth. This is great if you happen to fit this combination but for me it was no good as I need short length trousers (could turn them up but would look a bit ******!).
If I'd wanted short length trousers I'd have had to have had short length jacket which would have been too short in the arm! Same applied if you have long legs but normal length arms etc.
Not a problem for some admittedly. I specifically asked and in the Peterborough store at least there is no way you can mix and match sizes. With more staff in the shop than customers there was no way I'd get away with switching the trousers!
2- The quality is not that brilliant. The material used in the suits and is mainly polyester / viscose so the black suits in particular look a bit shiny and cheapish. Particularly in certain light. The one I tried had made in China on (I guess much of our clothing is these days). They had a price tag of £150 on but even the better quality suits in the shop had less than that so I would imagine this is typical retailer rrp exaggeration in my opinion. The shirts also seemed to be of relatively basic quality (don't think the white one was cotton)
I would describe them as every-day type suits rather than special occasion suits if that makes sense.
Having said that they do serve a purpose and are fantastic value, especially if you are not worried about the finest quality. I'd have probably bought had it not been for the size problem mentioned previously.
#24
I went to their store and yes, everything has been marked way too high. They don't have my size for the promotion suits so I was introduced to their other higher priced suits. Every suit there was made to look like its on sale. But in reality, their discounted price is the normal retail price around the country. Most suit companies do this though so its not only Moss. If you don't have a normal 6 inch drop from jacket to trousers, then its better to visit M&S where they sell suit seperates.
#25
I just bought one so i don't think this is expired. Plus I don't think it's the cheapest suit you could buy even at Moss, so i'm pretty happy about it. They still have stock and the guy at the Brighton store said they'd be getting more on Tuesday.

Bargin, bought myself from cheshire oaks, got suit top, trousers, shirt, tie and even got the suit carrier all for £49.00,voted hot
#27
The store in Gloucester has all of the ranges in stock and also are putting all sale stock into the same offer and they have lots in the sale. Absolutely brilliant. You cannot go wrong with this offer if a store near you also includes the sales stock
Thanks

This offer is back online, and if you use 2 codes, METRO and SUIT10, the whole lot comes to £39.20.
#29
I just bought this online! Looks like it's back in stock... Voucher codes didn't work though, but still a suit shirt and tie £49 is a great deal.

I just ordered it and only had to use the METRO code to get that price.

Have tried the offer online and they seem to have more stock now, tried to use discount code and was sent an email saying that the offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, but they put the order through over the phone and got the lot for £49.00 brilliant deal

Mine was cancelled after using the discount code - £49 is still a good deal but given the shirt size I need isn't in stock I'm not going to reorder at the full £49 as I'm a total stingy git :).

Yup FINNALY got mine in now :)

Yup - within 2 hours (ordered at 08.41 and cancelled at 10.30).

I relented and placed the order again as they actually had my shirt size in when I went back :).
#36

#37
Got mine delivered today. V nice. Bargain for £49. Thanks.
#38
Does anyone know how long they take to deliver? It's exactly a week since I ordered and I've heard nothing.

Thanks.
