Hi folks,

Most bizarre deal of this yuletide season in my opinion has to go to this one. Dr Who postage stamps signed by no other than Ken Dodd who, Play.com's bumpf tells us, was in one of the earlier episodes of the never-ending series.

£12.99 gets it, delivered - minus 4% if through QUIDCO. Made me chuckle anyway! Should be hot just for the absolute bizarreness of it!!

Oooh, and a P.S. Anyone remember the HUKD 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS from last year? I've set it up again on the Misc. forum. Its here:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124753

Happy hunting!!!

Diddymen vs Cybermen

Hmm - who would win!?!?

I know that gold is a problem for Cybermen, but not sure how deadly Jam Butties from the Jam Butty mines would be...

With complete disregard for anyone who might dare to disagree with me, can I just say that I think Doddy would have made an awesome Doctor Who when he was in his prime  Never realised that until now...

Problem is that I can't stop thinking of "Look into my eyes, not around the eyes, not around the eyes, look into my eyes. You will vote this deal hot. Now, you're back in the room"

Haha, very strange item!!

Or you could opt for the more conventional, there's one signed by Tom Baker for the same price:

I once saw Ken's own dog at the stagedoor of a theatre. He was taking it for a walk. Black poodle, backcombed hair, dodgy teeth. I kid you not!!!

beware buying from play.com any order more than £18 from jersey is subject to import tax and has to be paid before delivery, ordered graphics card and had to pay £18.49 charge, contacted and was told that this information is on the website, asked her to find it for me and she couldnt, post office guy said someone ordered a games consol from them and the charge was over £200 on top of what they had paid

Apparently he was rumbled after making an agreement to pay back taxes at a low and long rate (the agreement made between the IR and his representatives avoided prison) and then decided to write the first payment cheque from an account he hadn't declared....!

Ken Dodd was a character who was killed a few minutes after first seen in a Sylvester Mccoy episode called Delta and The Bannermen
