MOST Real Ale Bottles 2for£3.00 @Waitrose

Most of you beer drinkers will already know this but Waitrose has made a bit of a mistake in its 2for£3 real ale discount promo. ALL listed beers are in the promo NOT just the ones tagged in-store.

Stocks may obviously be limited but the promo is on until 9th November so may be worth looking in now and then.

The real bargain would have been Fuller's Vintage Ale (£3.55 per bottle) but I think these have been pulled from the shelves and stock level is designated SUSPENDED.

But there are some other good Fuller's beers there IE
Golden Pride 8.5%
1845 6.3%
London Porter
ESB
Bengal Lancer

Worth a mention... Costco currently have some great "ale" with 20% off - it makes it £16 for 16 bottles. It's 4x4 different varieties from the Badger Ale brewery.

Badger bottled beer is not the best IMHO(*), but for £1 a bottle, perhaps shouldn't be ignored. Too many bottled beers are **** though.

(*) Tanglefoot is worthy of a mention.

How do you know this? do you work there?

It's probably cheaper to find a brewery and buy direct from them, but at £1.50 a bottle it's a steal in comparison to the usual prices.

Heat added.

adnams broadside & fullers london porter are the only ones worthy of mention of real ales, most of the rest are available 3 for £4.00 at asda, netto often has the badger rubbish for £1.29 and aldi sells jennings snecklifter for £1.29. but if you're intersted in the leffe bruin & blonde that's a good deal as it's £2.00 a bottle at tesco & asda

Click the deal link. This is the full list of beers in the offer. I checked the expensive (Fuller's) beers instore on Sunday. The list is valid INSTORE. The only beer which appears to have been pulled from the deal is the Vintage Ale (£3.55 per bottle).

Found some Vintage Ale in-store yesterday - was still in the offer, so I cleared the last few boxes from the shelf. Also got some 1845, Golden Pride and Bengal Lancer, so that's my Cristmas beers sorted!

..someone missed the memo to remove from the shelves in the Cheltenham store..so I helped them out =D

I do feel a bit mean..the old lady behind me in the queue at the till liked the look of the box...for Christmas gifts for her sons..I did point out it was rather strong in percentage/flavour therefore a risky gift as not to everyone's taste..and there was no more left in stock!

got some golden pride, no vintage in my store :(
