Best Price I've seen by a long way.

Still waiting for my LG G2 from Black Friday so been holding off to buy this, glad I did now :)

Use code PRICELES5 if paying with a Mastercard to get an additional fiver off, making it £124.95...
- fleabittenvarmint

Also available @ Argos for the same price, no. 258/3367

Argos currently have the £10 voucher with over £100 spend deal.
- Derek_Duval

This is the '2014' second generation dual sim, 3G not 4G model. In case that needs further explaination, it does not have 4G but it has 3G
- spannerzone

Just an update for those waiting on the Vodafone LG Black Friday deal
I received confirmation an hour ago that mine has been despatched via DPP for delivery tomorrow. I nearly bought this earlier as if given up on it.

I bought one of these but found that the phone got slower & slower as I installed more apps. I sold it & went back to my iPhone 4s. I then bought a OnePlus One. I know it's more expensive but it's a much better phone & CyanogenMod is much nicer than stock Android KitKat.

I had one of these and had no issues with it like you describe.

As for the one plus one,if you think that's good then try a note 4,i know it's more expensive but it's a much better phone

That happened to me with a Ford Fiesta I was really keyed up to getting one and then a friend told me about Ferraris, I could have killed him, had to ditch the idea of the Ford then.

I'm amazed that there's anyone still on HUKD that isn't a master of Moto G seeing as there are about 10,000 deals posted :D

Moto G 2013 - Original 4.5" screen version with 3G
Moto G 4G 2013 - Like original 4.5" screen version but with 4G and SD slot
Moto G 2014 dual SIM - 5" screen, dual sim, 3G no 4G
Moto GGG LTE - coming soon with triple sim, all the G's, 10" screen, 4 SD slots*

*May not exist

Further to confuse, there's also a Moto G 2013 dual sim sold outside of Europe but available to buy, there's the single sim Moto G 2014 and then there's the 8 and 16gb variants.

Yes but not for us in the UK just yet, Lollipop is rolling out through the world and there was a 2nd update that largely fixed it, so when Lollipop hits the UK we will get the fix.

The 2nd Gen of the original Moto G is 4G, but this larger 5" (dual sim) version is still 3G

I'm confused as f*** now!

I was going by this. I thought the new model was smaller memory but 4G

As redflash says there is apparently a lollypop update followed by a 2nd smaller update (we will probably get it all in one update though) that is supposed to fix the memory issue which is a right pain in the butt... multitasking is non existent and every app always reloads when u switch.

I love the look, build and basically the stock android on his phone just the memory issue is shocking.. my old g3 with the touch wiz rubbish worked a lot better than this phone.

if and when it gets sorted... proof will be when I get the update... then the phone should be awesome...

You beat me to it OP! Cracking deal. Been waiting for this to come down on Amazon. Had an offer of £133 from Flubit, but glad I didn't go for it. Just paid with a Mastercard and used code PRICELES5 to get it for £124.95 delivered. Bargain! :)

Anyone have one and use 3? Bought this moto g from a previous deal but can't get any signal with my 3 sim even though I can when I use the same sim in a different phone.

Have this Phone now about four months, no complaints!!!

Do you live in a 4G area and have a contract with a 4G teleco? :D
#25
bought this from tesco direct last night for £139 Grrrr!!!
#26
I think I might vote cold on this as some of you say that it has a memory problem that will not be fixed until some new lollipop comes out - seems a lot of money for a 'broken' phone?

X)

you can buy moto g with 4g locked to tesco for £110 on applying voucher codes. Then unlock the device in EBay.

Good price, I bought my partner the 1st gen 4G version for around the same price only a couple of months ago.

Lol, I saw this earlier and didn't post it because I thought the 4g was the most sought after. How wrong can you be! :)

I'd hold out for the LG G2 personally, much better phone, though I assume more expensive (I don't know what it cost on the black Friday deals).
#35
Isnt the 4G one titled as the Moto4G which is also confusing but means there are 3 Moto's 2 MotoG's :-) the fact the 4G looks the same as the original 3G one also confuses.

Purchased the 16GB original for our daughter great phone, screen stopped responding on right hand-side, just had a warranty repair (free) turned around in 7 working days - pretty impressed as friend HTC had to go to China before!

Only wish there was still a 16GB model - you cannot install many android apps to SD Google's move here means 16GB is pretty essential, sure SD for music, Photos etc but many apps wont store full data on SD unless lollipop changes that - and I mean without rooting etc ?

Yep I have this phone and use 3 mobile and it is working aOK, I do notice that like all modern smarphones signal strength is not as good as my old Nokia N95 so if you live on the very edge of the signal perhaps that is why?

Also check you have it connected via 3g if you use 2 sims then you need to have the 3 sim using mobile data or it won't get a signal as only one sim can connect to 3g at a time.

Does anyone have news on when a new Moto G (4th version) will be released and what we can expect from the phone?

Nice find Mr E!

Seems you are not the only one still waiting for the Vodafone delivery, not only for the LG G2 stock but for the Moto E stock, maybe it is time to start a thread under HUKD Discussion, to weed them out into stating 1: where are our paid for orders 2: where is our money.. if you are never going to deliver the stock??? If any of the VFmoles are still watching our comments, maybe you could chip in and explain? As already stated, VF earns a SHED load of MONEY from HUKD's every time a deal is mentioned! Maybe even time for an *Official* employee of VF to post here... bit like cpc and mymemory guys|gals do??

Anyway, back on point, brilliant price for a brilliant bit of Moto Kit, apart from the stretchy screen resolution, this flys... just stick Android Lollipop 5 on it and you have one of the best on the market for the cash!

Looks like Amazon are matching the Argos price of £129.95 though it's worth mentioning that you'll receive a £10 Argos gift voucher for use between the 17/12/14 and 03/01/15 as the purchase is over £100
