I have this phone and it is excellent for web browsing apps, text messaging .

But one thing to bear in mind, the camera is terrible unless you are outdoors on a sunny day and your subject is standing completely still.

It really is a bad camera so buyers bear this in mind!

This phone will never get flash =/ and for an extra £60 you can get a desire. which has much better specs/software

I thought flash was in 2.2?

I have the original milestone, I love the hardware but Motorola support is gash. We're still stuck on 2.1 FFS, 2.3 is out now! The new Samsung is a naked one, fully unlocked and no silly UI over the top, so should get pretty quick updates from google.

Nope this phone will never get 2.2... it was confirmed by Motorola

But surprisingly the original milestone is due to be upgraded v soon

Can't say I'm that suprised, like I said Motorola don't seem interested in the phones once they've sold them. I do like the original milestone, I love the keyboard, but I want something a bit faster. It seems to crawl lately, may have to put a custome ROM on and see how it goes.
