Hey there, nice deal from a reputable company (CPW). Thanks for the post. :)
#3
I didn't notice that! How many companies do CPW have!! They're taking over the world!!
#4
Also on onestopphoneshop. With £37.50 this makes it basically free for the year!!

Whats this phone like? Is it any good?
#5
Wish I could stomach the Motorola UI

Haha, me and you are so alike. :)

Quack Quack... daddehh...

I've been reading up on it and it seems there are alot of reliability problems. They have a new ui (user interface??)

avoid taking these price match stuff.

Nice price and voted hot!

However, I would like to suggest everyone avoids Onestopphoneshop since e2save has the identical offer. Although both of them are belong to Carphonewarehouse, e2save is far more reliable for cashback than onestop.

How's you guys' opinion?

ive been with one stop phone shop and i have had no problems what so ever and sometimes they give me extra cashback which is a bonus by mistake lool. touchwood till this day no prbs.

Once I sent my bill to them for cashback but unfortunately royalmail losted. I provided them the recorded mail proof but they told me I should ask for compensation from royalmail. However, royalmail didn't cover any consequential lost for recorded mail. I explained it to onestop but they refused to give me any cashback.. If it was e2save or dialaphone, they would give you the cashback if you could provide the recorded mail proof. That's why I hate onestop.

Should've covered yourself adequately for the loss rather than blame osps for it!

When dealing with onestop cashback you now go through to e2save call centre They deal with all cpw cashback claims now.

Why? What exactly is a "price match" deal?
#17
good question nick_sub was thinking same myself

because the T&Cs are stricter than the normal OSPS / e2save T&Cs

i.e. get it wring once lose all cashback

also have to send original bills not photocopies / web bills

still good deal though - hope this is around next month when my e2save deals end
#19
OK, thanks. I thought with all deals if you got it wrong you lost it all. Don't mind send my original bills so I won't rule the price match ones out.

Make sure you read the t&c's fully, if your claim gets lost in the post they won't pay, if your bill gets lost on the way to you I don't think there's a way to claim. If you cancel your direct debit they charge you £10, do a claim wrong and they charge you £10!

I've gone on pricematch deals before and I think they're ok as long as you're happy with all the t&c's.

Just a quick question about the cashback T&C's, it says:

Cashback Claim Process:

Instalment 1: - You will need to claim 4 months from connection

Does this mean you can't go by bill number any more, so if you get it today, 3 November...you'd send the bill dated around 3 March yes?

Yes, but your bill won't necessarily be for today. Your first bill could be in a weeks time but the same applys, 10th November, 10th March.

To clarify, say you get connected 5th November then you should send in the first bill you get after 5th April next year, i.e. the bill that shows you have been connected for 4 months

That's a bizarre train of thought you're following :?

Your beef is with Royal Mail not OSPS.

Had one of these delivered yesterday, 6 hours later it was on its way back, the user interface is terrible, i normally like Moto's but this was horrible.....

i think this phone is ok. obviously i like the bluetooth wireless headset that comes with this handset too. you can buy a 2GB micro sd card, load it with music and then listen to it wireless. there are a good set of features included in this phone. the screen is amazing but prone to finger prints.
i think as long as you haven't used a nokia all your life, you could get used to this phone.

Also the buttons take some getting used to.

The offer is back on today btw.
