I wasn't expecting such a frosty reception to these. mine are apparently been delivered tomorrow.
Back in the 80's dispatch riding in winter, I bought a hand made pair of heated gloves from a gentleman called Capt. Maurice Seddon in Datchet. He was a bit of a legend in the day, as his gloves were the only ones on the market. Sure there was no temp control so the wires would burn a bit after a few hours, but hell I made 3 winters with steam coming off my hands delivering around London. The reason I mention this, is that heated grips, which are fab in cool weather, don't cut it in cold cold wet weather, like we get in a typical UK January. So, gloves, and the faff with the wires, are the way to go in the cold. Good price and it is quality kit, so hot.
good find jloyd, heat added (pun intended!) :)
oh the joy of motorcycling in the UK X)X)
Heated grips only warm the palm, plus I can plug these in on different bikes.
They look like an older model, but still cheapest I've found. They are £70 here:

Buy them if you want them, don't if you don't want them.

This is only a quid, so its gotta be hot.....
But as far as chain lubes the past i've bought into the con that they are, i've used dry lube, wax lube, anti fling (yeah right, like it doesn't fling off), yada yada yada.......
All motorcycle chains nowadays are either X or O ring, which means the lube is sealed in the rollers for the life of the chain...... BUT you do need lube to stop the chain corroding and to lube the contact between the chain & sprockets..... and you cant get much better than gear oil, put on thinly & often with a toothbrush, and its about as cheap as you can get.
Ordered this ealier when I found it on the MCN site gotta be worth a punt at that price
Thanks good find!
ta OP
Will this work on a shaft?

you want to lube your shaft with this oO

If you say things like lube and shaft doesn't Churchill turn up, like the jeanie in the lamp!!!!! X)
