A semi seasoned thieve would get through this in seconds.

Personally I would only use it to keep a bike from getting nicked by the most opportunistic of thieving scum bags.

If you have anything even remotely desirable use a decent chain and lock.

Usually in a security chain the padlock is the weakest link. Ride magazine tested these circular padlocks and rated them highly against being picked or broken easily.
A huge pair of bolt croppers may cut through them... but they will cut through most security stuff on the market that costs a great deal more than £4.99.
For the price its a bargain and a thief will look for something easier to nick.

Can't argue with that.

I remember a few years back, in the pre-TWO days of visordown... a chap on there was putting some major chains and locks through some tests.
It was really worrying the number chains/locks that would fail in a matter of seconds... and these were Sold Secure approved stuff from big brand names with price tags to match..

On the whole I tend to take bike magazine product tests with an unhealthy dose of salt... but then I gave up on the biking mags a while ago :-(

Received mine today from Busters (super fast delivery too!) and it turns out to be a Kryptonite keeper 880 lock and chain - these are retailing elswhere for around £25, so even with my postage it's still a massive bargain. Heat added from me - you beat me to it posting it!!!!!

Are you not meant to list the postage?
