Three Mobile (Hutchinson 3G) have the refurbished Motorola C975 on Pay As You Go for just £4.99 when you buy £30 airtime.

This is a nice little offer if you wanted to use Three anyway, as the £30 airtime is already bought, meaning that the phone's only cost you £4.99. Purchase through QuidCo for £5 in cashback, and voila - if you use your £30 airtime up then you've made a penny profit.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The £30 airtime must be used within 60 days of connection.

You can also use this handset to access MSN for free in one of Three's latest online offers.

The handset is also included in Three's "WePay" option, where they pay you credit to receive calls and texts. You are payed 5p per minute for calls you receive and 2p per text!

The Motorola C975 is technically identical to the V975. It's a high spec 3G handset with a twin camera, 176x220 pixel display. Other features include video calling, multimedia playback, streaming video, web browser, email, Java, PC synchronisation, removable TransFlash memory, poly ringtones and much more.

Does all airtime have to be used up in 60 days or are there exclusions on different networks? £30 would last me months and months? regards. Good and a good find again DM.

Three have decided to expire your airtime after 60 days. I don't think the free airtime on Orange handsets which I've posted expires at all, every network has different rules for everything.

To be honest this is only worth it if you're the sort of person who would be able to use £30 airtime in 2 months.

These are the ones with the SIM that's glued in with epoxy resin (nope, not a joke!) so don't expect to be able to put another SIM in unless you're good at a touch of DIY!

I work in a 2nd hand shop, and have to turn away these phones with glued in cards.
There is no way you could ever sell these phones, as they are registred once you purchase.
I have no idea how they are allowed to to do this to their phones.
