Whoops Sorry Guys.

I Received Mine At The Weekend And The Things I Have Downloaded Free Are Unbelievable.

You Go To The Apps Website On Your Computer, Use The Bar-code Reader On The Phone To Select App Then Choose Download.

All Those Lovely Apps You See On The I Phone, But Mostly Free.

The Phone Links To Your Home Wi-fi Really Easily So Browsing The Net And Downloading Is Extremely Fast.

Quidco is ONLY £12, instead of £30.

So, did you get the app that capitalises the first letter of every word that you type?

that app is called "caps lock"

This is NOT an iPhone beater.

Misses has one, and it has failed as a phone twice, muffly, and sounds like shes 30 ft away from the phone when speaking sometimes.

And it doesnt have Angry Birds.

HTC Desire is the only phone near the iPhone

If someone posted a mobile deal with a free bottle of water and antivIrus
software thrown in just think of the World War 3 battle we would have !

I agree Gluke.

Here we go with the comments. It surprises me that anyone posts anything.

1. The HTC is also an Android phone and uses the same operating system, so all the apps are the same.

2. If the phones faulty when making calls change it !

3. Sorry about the CAPS, but if you have nothing better to do but pick fault, I feel sorry for you.

I posted this for people who are interested in the deal, so if you have nothing sensible to comment, why bother.

Quidco went through at £30 not £12 possibly because with the £10 credit it goes up to £159

I was i the Orange shop (Swindon) on Saturday, and £149 plus £10 top up is the normal price for his handset now.

The HTC runs Android 2.1 and this has 1.5 :(
Therefore theres less apps for it and theres no sign of an upgrade to 2.1!

No all Android phones are 'iPhone beaters'. Android is just an OS for mobiles whereas the iPhone is an entire phone. This isn't an 'iPhone killer' though phones like the Nexus One, Desire, Legend etc. would be considered by many as one.

Just so you know, vBulletin has an option to prevent ALL CAPS in posts. However, it keeps the first letter of each word capped. Obviously no one would manually cap every first letter in their words.

I've got this deal and here's my mini review:

Good:

CAN BE UNLOCKED ON EBAY FOR UNDER £3! Saving you an extra tenner! :-D
Good screen and keyboard, although space bar should be where the symbol bar is.
Performance is pretty good.
Android is very good, many apps.
Good music player.
Good Web browser.
5 homescreens means lots of widgets and shortcuts!
Free weather widget which doesn't use data charges!
Decent battery life.
Call quality is decent.

Bad:

No flash on camera.
Internet is always connected and can't be turned off, well actually you need a 3rd party app to shut it called APNDroid or Quick Settings.
Touchscreen has some dead spots sometimes.
Android version 1.5 is very old, although Motorola may update to 2.1 in around July.
Quite bulky and heavy.
If you put a password lock on the screen, be prepared for frequent random restarts!

Overall: It's my best phone to date, I would give it a very good 8/10. If only it had Android 2.1 which Motorola say they may roll out in July it would be very good.
