+ a tenner for the airtime should be in the title really.
#2
Then it costs £10.49 for the phone and £10 credit, you cant include quidco in the price.
#3
Does anyone know if this phone will take o2 sims? Ive been after a cheap o2 for a while now
#4

#5

Only asking because on the tracking process it states credit check

No virgin m8!

Still no.

I looked at the title and saw Orange is all.

click the 7.99 button, it then says Virgin

generally cheep phones are unlocked to any network... just they dont tell you (networks pay towards some of the costs you see). I bought one simular to this model from e2save on virgin and it was unlocked!
bonus if the quidco works!

Lack of mentioning the mandatory £10 credit makes this misleading.

If the OP could change it, it would make this deal more honest.

Why would you want a phone with no credit? Surely its a mute point that £10 credit is needed?
#13
When I got this in my basket it was £17.99 and said about 'adding the credit in 8 days time' ie presumably on the number of the phone, and not just a Virgin £10 voucher enclosed.

Would have bought it if it came with a £10 voucher as could use that on my main Virgin number :-(
#14
8days delay is stop people getting the phone, using the credit and demanding a refund under distance selling laws every retailer does it, also the credit is 100% unrefundable as the network gives it to you NOT the store.

Worst phone ever

There are many reasons, but for starters:

You have a sim card that already has credit on it, and don't need to buy anymore credit.

 Great deal. I purchased this about a month ago when it was £18.99 including £10 airtime . Wish i'd have waited now

Worst phone ever

it is a tad *****.

I've got me a sony ericsson k800i at the moment and its pretty ****in amazing, right, but this is also a great phone, if only for the fantastic screen. Yea ok, its not that great, being one colour and all, but the contrast/brightness means you can see it in the brightest daylistght. plus the phone could just be like a back up or something,
#25
this phone was being sold for £9.99 with no catch not to long ago in asda on orange. i bought 6 as my brother worked there (+10% discount) and made a tidy profit selling them on the street! =p

sony ericsson k800i is rubbish, i wish i never fell for the salesman pitch in phones4u! chunky brick with a shiat video recording as in ever sony ericsson!
#27
i don't know what phone is decent now.. they are all trying to beat each other and they are becoming shiater then one another!

sony ericsson keeps selling the same pitch, same menu's, bad sound (apparently like an mp3 player), same glitches and auto restarts!

as for samsung, bad interface, slow menu's, annoying sensitivity, and slimmer then a f'en oyster card soon.

as for motorola, i don't know where to start? what good have they done?

and nokia, i wont get started, ever since the n-gage and nokia 7610, they have not improved shiat on there "NEW UNLOCKABLE SOFTWARE"... still slow, still freeezes, still sucks big time! and who is designing them?

have i missed out on something?

blackberry's... seeing one in every sucked up hand is bad enough, but I'm sure it's a decent phone =)

The End.

 thought mute sounded slightly wrong lol.

Thesaint, who has enough credit on another sim to last forever? I'm not trying to argue but i think at one moment or another, the £10 top up will get used.

I bought one of these when it was on hee a few weeks ago. I bought it for my 81 year old parent - he loves it.....it is simple to use and the screen has large characters, and is nice and clear. Does what it says on the tin - makes and receives telephone calls.......that is what a telephone is for after all!

And all with £17 on the sim card (that time)?? Came with £5 on, register it on Virgin mobile site then they add £2, then e2save add the £10 at a later date!
#39
How do i "add" quidco? It gives the price at £15

Your logic is severely twisted there. If a network is subsidising the cost of a phone then they would sell it LOCKED, not give easy access to the enemy:thinking:
