Exclusive to Orange, the Motorola L6 Black. Weighing just 86g and at 10mm deep, it is still one of the slimmest "candy bar" phones available.

[*]VGA cameratalk 5.8 hrs

Ordered for my Orange contract!!
The silver L6 was nice but I sold that to a relative and been using a spare nokia 6100 all this time, the £10 credit buy me some brownie points with said relative hopefully if sent as a seperate voucher, was ordered as a current customer so we'll see how that goes thru

Quidco £5 off = £40 for this with £10 voucher :)

Well worth a punt, thanks friends :)

A nice price indeed!

Sorry if I sound a bit thick but does the £10 credit have to be used with the sim card you get with the phone or can I just insert my old sim card and get the £10 added to that. Thanks
#7
Mine arrived, came with sim card instead of a £10 voucher I hoped for, still if the sim has £10 credit can't moan too much.

It looks great and is a form over function phone really, the black is the same material and plastic on the original V3 but doesn't feel as flimsy as the V3

It came with a headset which not all silver l6's get.

 to OP

edit: it seems they send a new sim with all phones and if you're a current customer your monthly or payg number will be moved the sim they sent you, makes you wonder if they have alot of fraud for such security measures.

Thanks for the feedback Schizoboy :)

I received a phone from Orange Online Shop - with £10 free airtime credit and £10 top-up paid for - neither is showing on my account... £20 disappeared into thin air... struggling to get through to anyone who will help... spent an hour on the phone to Orange this morning - no progress...

gobofraggle the £10 credit either on a new sim or a paug sim you said u had during ordering will appear within 14days of ordering I was told, I have a feeling that's done on purpose to stop u spending the credit b4 u have a chance to return the phone? I'll find out by the end of the month if they honour this I suppose.

Well, I hope it arrives... The guy yesterday said it would be on my account within 24 hours... today they said within 48 hours... And they had no idea where my £10 compulsory top-up had gone.
Even if they do this on purpose and it happens to lots of people, they seemed pretty clueless on the phone, like they had no idea what the problem was and had no idea how to fix it...

Anyway - I do like my phone (Motorola L7 RED) and am going to make the best of it anyway. I'll have to do a lot of 'orange wednesday' free cinema ticket offers to get my moneys worth!!

By the way those really wanting to unlock an L6 or L7 should try www.gsm-support.com a housemate used them with a 48hour turnaround from posting it they had it back, unlocked.

I got mine and have not had my £10 top up either, I also had an email saying because I was upgrading I would get an extra £1 talk time. The customer advisor said because the top up voucher did not show on my invoice I would not be charged but I have.
#15
Interesting, I was upgrading too on a PAYG i already had but was promised 14days, if anyone else has this problem please post what was quoted to u.

I might call them tomorrow morning.
#16
Has anyone else been credited £30 instead of the £10 they were supposed to get?
#17
Still have not got my £10 never mind £30. When I phoned they said it takes 72 hours, its been 6 days now!!!!!!
#18

Phoned about not receiving top up, got cut off first time and then after waiting ages they did not know any thing about the top ups. They finally spoke to Supervisor who quoted "technical difficulties" . Upto 2 weeks for top up to come through!!!! How hard is it to put a £10 top up on phone. Took my money quick enough
#21
After speaking to many people at Orange and being frustrated at lack of help, and lack of £20 airtime I was due, I emailed the chief executive of orange - got a call from a very helpful lady, who sounded quite powerful in terms of her position within orange, the next day - this was last week... She said she'd put the money onto my account immediately and was going to look into the problems at their online shop - it's possible that others who got extra £20 credit can thank her for scaring the people at orange online shop into (over-re)action.

I wonder if I'm getting everyones credit cos Orange really loves me? :-D, I was given £30 a few days ago and another £30 today i think so now in total my credit is past £70 (which I won't use since I run lots of contracts for my family so have access to more inclusive mins and sms than I'll ever use)

I find it odd that peoiple arn't getting theres :? anyone who is chasing theirs up please reply on here with your progress
#23
After posting I had not got my £10 I got £30 yesterday and £30 today!!!! After ringing them 3 times and hanging on for ages to try and get the £10 I had paid for I will wait till they contact me to correct the error. I use my phone very little, £60 would keep my going for months
#24
Something is very broken at Orange I take it, I'm tempted to call an expensive line just for the sake of using it and not having it taken away from me lol!
#25
This is back in stock by the way
#26
SMS from Orange after getting 2x£30 instead of the original £10 only credit:
We accidently gave you to much airtime credit wit your handset purchase. So we've claimed a bit back and left you with £10 extra to say sorry

But my credit has yet to change...
#27
I got the same text, but they've took come credit off me about £20.00.
Still left with £40.00 so Im not complaining
