The Carphone Warehouse have the refurbished wafer thin Motorola L7 Red Charity phone with 10 months line rental charged at just 99p on a 12 month contract on o2!! So, for £69.90 (after cashback) you're getting the REFURBISHED Motorola L7 Red (for FREE!!), 12 months line rental (after which you may cancel), 200 x-net mins per month, 75 text messages every month and 50 Orange2Orange off-peak minutes per month too on Orange's "Canary 30" tariff!! If you have an old phone to trade in then you'll get £10 for it, plus a further £5 if you can send the manual and another £5 if you can send the charger!! That's £20 in all!! Plus QuidCo, which is currently priced at a massive £37!! So HURRY!!

5% of whatever you pay to orange, including the initial line rental cost before cashback, will be donated to AIDs and HIV funds in Africa.

The Motorola L7 RED one of the world's slimmest camera phones. It's just 11.5mm thick, yet there's still room for a high-tech glowing keypad, a vivid colour screen, an MP3 music player, games, a handsfree loudspeaker and a video recorder. You can even expand the phone's built-in storage by using a memory card. The red Motorola SLVR is also the perfect travelling companion, with quad-band international coverage, Bluetooth wireless technology, a mobile internet browser and an email program.

Finally, if you're confused by the name, the red Motorola SLVR - which some people are calling the L7 RED - has a bold red casing with a silver keypad. It's stylish, it's smart, it's slender… and it'll make a real difference to the global battle against AIDS.

The CPW site states that trade-in for online deals where the handset is free will be by voucher redeemable against goods at a store.

Follow Help and Support > Additional Services > Trade-In Your Old Handset and read all the page.

This is a bit disappointing for those of us many miles from a store with no need to buy extras as it makes the trade-in worthless. Nevertheless, still a hot deal if the refurb box contains the same as a new package.
