We're after a good reliable baby monitor but the reviews for this one are appalling.

got it, apart from lack of a sensor/monitor mat it's fantastic. screen is big/good resolution, sound is clear and you can even pan + tilt the camera remotely. bargain. I'm getting 2nd camera (as one monitor can swap between up to 4 cameras) to monitor 2nd daughter now she's past baby stage

We bought this on offer at argos (£90 6 months ago)...have no complaints at all, very clear picture, remote movement of camera works well...much better quality than the chicco video monitor we had for our 1st. I'll give you some heat ;)

Please don't buy this!!! Read the reviews before buying - you'll probably be wasting your money. We made the mistake of buying one, and like many, many, others have found the parent unit stops taking a charge after several months. For us it took 7 months.

Basically the charging connector in the parent unit is not fit for purpose and eventually will break leaving the system useless. Until it broke it worked quite well although the the range was poor. We've had to buy a new monitor and went for the Angelcare 1320 which has much better range. Hopefully won't break after a few months.

Buyer beware.

The parent charger style was changed between the mbp36 and the mbp36s. it is now a microusb connector. I purchased this as an upgrade to the mbp36, and its camera is much better. I will also be looking for an additional camera but will wait until it is next on offer (got it at £64 on prime day). this is a good price and if you have problems that's what the warranty is for.

Unfortunately these have little to do with Motorola, they're a product of Binatone who have bought the rights to use Motorola's brand name. You can come to your own conclusions,

I have done loads of research and it seems like Summer Infant are really good ones but all Monotors it seems have some issues eventually no idea why.

We have this and works great! Like someone has said has microusb charger socket.

Don't listen to the 'Just buy an IP camera' crowd, These have a way more sensitive microphone and temperature senor.

Would recommend.
