These are good but the micro usb port is easily broken.

The usb charging ports on these are so fragile and break easily. I got a refund on mine after 4 months and managed to get the upgraded version instead 2 years ago which has a better camera with higher frame rate (the MBP36S has TERRIBLE frame rate especially in the dark despite their claims). Motorola discontinued the newer version for some reason but carried on with this fragile rubbish one. I can only assume it's because the company changed hands so many times and this one was cheaper for them to make.

Yeah I'm in two minds about it. What are the alternatives though at a similar price?

First two posters are correct. Avoid this pos - it has a fundamental flaw with the USB charging port so it stops working after a few months. We ended up having to buy a new monitor and went for an Angelcare - which has been excellent, and actually works.

what is the upgraded version?

I have one and it's okay but it was bought for me. I would never choose it on my own. The picture is crap and the power connection has broken twice and I can see from other people that this is a common problem. Luckily my dad is very good with electronics and fixed it. Also one of the camera ac adapters died after a couple of months. Cant believe they charge so much for something so poorly made.

I have this version already, upgraded from the first mbp36 which I used for two years, we have had no problems with it and I am going to get another one for our new arrival next year. picture quality is much better than the previous, interested to know what alternatives people are using.
