No OTG support, other than that, great phone for the price. I bought it for ANT+ sensor reading, but it is no good for that as it doesn't support OTG. Bear that in mind.

Most of us have no idea what you have just said & for us the MotoE is perfect

It is outstandingly good - I am thinking of flogging my iPhone and keeping the Moto E. And it's about to be upgraded to the latest Android OS for free.

Would love to know if found in other stores for the same price...
#10
Grab a handful if you can - the best deal I have seen on HUKD.
#11
Which network is it on ?
#12
HOT! Paid £59 for this back in November for our sons birthday, and he loves his.

Camera isn't the best, and it only has 4GB storage (can add MicroSD cards), but otherwise its a decent phone, and for £30 a steal!
#13
Yes, please list the Item Number (printed on the barcode - including hyphens and slashes).
#14
Bought this for my mother in law for Xmas. she had an old Nokia dumb phone and absolutely loves this. Camera is a but hit and miss indoors.
loaded dead trigger on it as a test and it runs really well. Recommended

Super hot! Bought one 2 months ago for £40 at Tesco, so much phone for 40 quid! Doesn't get slow, comes with a Micro SD slot, feels great in the hand, my only gripe with it is that there is no front facing camera but it doesn't effect me much, well worth £30! Heat added!

Is this locked to a network?

Not much help given there's no mention of which network the phone is on and Asda stock it on three different ones.

i wouldnt worry about it. as said before motorolas atm are very easy and cheap to unlock. £2 max on ebay.

if it is on a set network then thats one day and a quid to sort more than likely. however, if they stock on multiple networks id imagine it to be like CPW, same phone, just comes with a different sim

You can root it and get the otg to work if you insist...
#24
OTG (on the go) is a little connector you can get for a couple of quid which allows you to connect normal USB equipment like a mouse or hard drive etc...

Ps I got rid of m Galaxyy NOTE 4 from O2 and have switched to this moto e on Tesco and think it's great....the internal mem is quite low so you lol prob need a memory card and need to keep moving stuff to it or the memory gets a bit bunged up
#25
Cheers man!

Just bought one from Cheltenham so must be nationwide....

Are these any good? I wanted to get one from my ASDA in Huddersfield as I've lost my phone but i'd be gutted if i made the trip down there and they dont have it at this price..I jw if anyone could confirm the barcode?
#28
good luck. none in Carlisle. been trying to get the £40 one for the last 2 weeks but they have been sold out.

Great device, but the camera is shockingly bad. No autofocus (or any sort of focus really), which can be tricky if you need to use a barcode scanner on some apps.

I have the Moto E, the phone itself is great, but I agree the camera is probably the worst in any smart phone you can buy right now.
#33
And the update to Lollipop shouldn't be too far away, so probably the best value phone on the market at the moment.

As they're selling them off cheap I would imagine the new model will be out soon, so the likes of Tesco will probably start unloading their old stock too ...
#34
Great phone for a price.
#35
goose chase again.
any stock anywhere? ?

what's better overall, moto e. or huawei y300?

what's better overall, moto e. or huawei y300?

The moto-e is higher quality. But the huawei has more bangs and whistles just off slightly less quality.

Huawei is bulkier, no software updates, has a compass, two cameras and a big screen. The moto-e has a smaller but higher resolution screen, one poor camera, no compass but a slimmer size and updates to the software.

You just have to decide whats important to you.
