To be fair I'd want more than 1gb of ram at this price point. Not voting either way though as I don't know how much of a steal this is (or not).

Got 2 for my daughters when they where £79 and they are happy enough with them. Heat from me.

Someone who purchased one for £79 from Moto in the older thread stated 1.5G

It seems that Motorola's US site states 2Gb but the UK site says that we only get the 1Gb model. I bought one for my wife a few weeks ago at £89 from Motorola, and can confirm that it is the 1Gb model.:{

got two when they were £79. Happy with them. 1gb is fine for everyday normal use.

The 2GB version is the standard G4, not the Play.

There is no 2GB version of the G4 Play sold in the UK. All are 1GB RAM and 16GB storage.

The 2GB RAM version is only available outside of the UK.

No thanks, I'm full.

Edit: Just so you know Amazon accused me of "signing for a phone" I didn't reccive - it's taken a fortnight and the threat of legal action for them to refund me and realise that they "delivered it to the wrong address" (and apparently someone forged my signature).

If you expect me to be positive about a company that seems to be run by inept chimps, then, it is in fact you my small minded friend who is the dick. Dick.

Do Amazon actually deliver parcels ?

it's the fault of the courier and (alleged) thief who forged your signature not Amazon ?

I'm sure many people have tried to steal from Amazon using that procedure ( didn't receive it .. honest) so why shouldn't they protect themselves?

I do sympathise with you however it's not nice.

Well, it was delivered by Amazon Logistics.... so.. yeah. Kinda is Amazons fault..

edit: Just to be clear this was Amazon.co.uk with a 'Prime' membership and couriered by Amazon logistics.

So it was Amazon all the way; bought from them and "delivered" by them - just to the totally wrong address lol..

(and remember for a good week as far as they were concerned; they had a signature it wasn't their issue anymore, it was only after I threatened to report Amazon logistics to the police and phone trading standards did theysuddenly 'realise' my package had been delivered to the wrong address and fully refunded me....

just be warned... I've been using Amazon happily for years but this has really left me salty and almost out of pocket of £160+...

Second edit: to answer your question; if the person who takes the parcel is anyone BUT the person they should be delivering to they should ask to see some photo ID or anything to identify them to prove they are who they say they are (OR! do exactly what I asked and was assured would happen the night before and hand it over ONLY to the person who ordered it.. another fail / lie on Amazons behalf!) to prevent something exactly like this from happening....
