Why do companies continue to produce 16gb phones ? It's WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY out of date and not remotely enough for most people
- To satisfy people who could only afford to buy a 16GB storage models
- for people who can manage their storage making use of the online available cloud and drive storage

It's an ok phone, but for £230, I'd want something that scores better than 45,000 - 46,000 on Antutu.

Those sort of scores are meaningless ask any dev it's how it feels in performance not half baked scores...

How many F***** and confusing versions will they release?

So there is
Moto G4 same as the old MG3 5inch
Moto G4 Play
Moto G4 Plus
Moto G4 Plus with 3gb ram
Moto G4 Plus with 4gb ram???

16GB is enough for most people, more so nowadays with adoptable storage which helps no end

Its the sd slot - thats the key - the 16GB is no problem, just get a 128GB £35 card (assuming this device accepts 128GB?)
edit
just read in spec above its good for 256GB what the iPhone 7 will be for £700.00 next week.

Hi all, any chance of a unidays code, I tried to purchase one of these a few weeks ago but gave up as at the time the codes temporarily weren't being accepted. Regards.

just make sure you get fast enough card, otherwise it will only format as external HDD not internal.

I second this, codes would be much appreciated.

My Motorola phone has a U1 card inside and it reported that it was slow yet it still formatted as internal

This remark is why you should never see HUKD temperatures as a universal truth - more geeks on here than 'normobs' who don't base their purchases on Antutu scores. No offence intended by the way, each to their own and all that - just saying that priorities on here seem to be drawn more towards specs and benchmarks than real-world use.

PRICE IS INCORRECT, £229 IS FOR 2GB RAM/32GB STORAGE.

4GB RAM/64GB STORAGE IS ACTUALLY £264.

Still doesn't wash. All things advance, getting bigger better more efficient - EXCEPT this apparently

you need .ac.uk email address in order to get a unidays code

Nice phone, ticks all the boxes... Except has no NFC, so can't use it with Android Pay.
Not voting either way.

Damn students being all young and sh*t, getting all the good deals *shakes fist and adds heat*
3 Likes #24
So this is a deal for students?

What is the price for people without a code?

Amazon deals need to include prices without prime, so this should be no different.

I find it very strange that NFC has been excluded from the Moto G4 & G4 Plus, but included in the cheapest spec G4 Play!
#26
it's fairly easy to get access to the unidays discount codes!

If only this had NFC. Such a huge ommission.

that's so hard on android though as it still keeps most of the data on the root drive on apps for me

Yes, most Moto G phones don't for some reason. For this price I would expect it.
#37
I got one for £200 on amazon?
#38
This or an s6 ?
#39
Anyone have a spare unidays code please? Thanks
