I think they must be price matching somebody. There is the usual two year warranty from John Lewis.
The phone has a lot of good reviews for the price and will be good to replace my wife's old android.
Would be interested in your thoughts.
Will it be reduced further on Friday?
The white Dual-sim one has also been reduced now to £149.

I reckon this will go down further. I got this 2 months ago for £129 at John Lewis for my Dad. Really nice phone for the money.

Same price as amazon. Hopefully this will get cheaper...

The Amazon only shows 1GB of ram this lists 2GB.

The Moto G4 doesn't come with 1GB, that's the Play.

Great phone you won't be disappointed 2gb ram

Just checked the Amazon description again and it definitely states 1GB of ram, I don't know how to add the link . I think I read somewhere that it is a special 1GB for Amazon ?

If you're with O2/Vodafone you can still get it for £129 on upgrade at CPW, unlocked.

would like to know this too...I have the 3rd gen and it's been too problematic, so wary of getting another Moto

Got P9 Lite for my Mrs from EE when it was on offer at £129. great phone. So good that hot another from EE when it was offered for £169 with Beats headphones for my daughter. Seriously thinking of getting one myself now! Only concern is it has no gorilla glass so may be fragile from dropping but as I have mobile insurance through my bank maybe not such a big risk!

Sorry not hot for me.
Can be found elsewhere for same price, granted without extra years warranty.

Surely this is going to come down to £100-£130. Sometime this week. ?

You can also build a custom 2gb, 16gb version in Motorola site for £149, with stacked codes UKWELCOME10 and MOG10.
Although I'm gonna hold out for better black Friday deal.

Sorry to ask if it's been done so many times but does the G4 still have gps and compass as sure I read one of the models had it removed which would make google maps when walking a bit useless

Yes it is, but much larger. That would be the first thing they'd notice.

Now £159

back to £159, hopefully reduced soon

I ordered the plus version and it was full of bugs. Video playback laggy, sound cut out. Annoying volume change and I don't even remember everywhere. Fix was every time to just restart it. Maybe I got a bad one..I had to send it back. :( So the price and good specs are not everything guys! Look for issues and problems in google for the phones first.
But I liked it still as the shape and look and most of the handling was good. Battery life was also good. ended up with a Huawei P9 Lite which is flawless.

As long as you have a warranty, LG G3 every time.

Back down to £149, just ordered one.

Samsung j5 2016, Samsung a5 2016, Samsung a3 2016, p9 lite.... quite a choice out there. these large 5" phones are surprisingly quick and worth every penny.
moto g4 has very good specs.
#34
Sadly i has to return an LG G3 i had off EBAY. I coudnt get a signal on 3 3G, only 4G would work oddly
#35
I'm still on my first gen Moto G. It's chugging along still, but I would like to upgrade it to this if it drops by another £20-30.
#36
You can also still get Moto X style 32Gb from Motorola including free premium back (wood or leather normally £20) for £239 using codes on earlier post. ukcrm161 and ukwelcome10.
#37
Still can't decide between Moto g4 and p9 lite myself.
Buying this as a gift and just can't decide which is better value for money.

Moto G4 or Huawei P9 lite?

I have had both and am keeping the P9 Lite. One big difference is that the P9L has much better call quality, clearer and less harsh/distorted that the G4. Better screen on the P9L, better battery life and build. Not quite as quick and of course if you want a more vanilla experience then the Moto scores high there. P9L IMHO is much the better value and more premium. The X Style is better but even that the call quality is nothing special not as bad as the G4 though. Even the skin on the Huawei I personally like lots of useful adjustments.
