whats best deal for g4 plus at the moment?
#13
is the plus worth the extra money?
#14
Huawei p9 lite was more responsive, has a better camera, a finger print reader and is cheaper. But the G4 has a bigger screen and is more like pure android which I preferred.
#15
where's the p9 cheaper ?
looking for a phone for my son

This is much better than a knackered old G3 from eBay. Only thing the G3 has over this is camera quality (but Moto is still pretty good) G4 is about to get Nougat as well LG is stuck on marshmallow forever.

P9 Lite £129 in EE store. P9 of course is a lot more.

I pretty much agree ac. If the g4 is the 2gb RAM version and the LG g3 is the 3gb RAM version, I'd go with the g3 however.

definitely, it comes with the turbo charger, fingerprint sensor and a better camera. stick I'm a SD card and you have a great phone

this or a second hand phone from 2 1/2 years ago that might work and probably with a knackered battery !????!!!

after the mess LG made with many Nexus 5 being killed by the marshmallow update and Nexus 5x being killed by Nougat I will never buy another phone made by LG.
#22
I have this phone. Upgraded from a Nexus 5, and it's a better phone.
Worth considering however that John Lewis sell brand new for £149.

I don't disagree, though a qualcom turbocharger is available for only £10.

Decent phone but be wary. There are huge issues with these (and the g4 plus and play) with image retention after only a couple of weeks use. Seems these phones come with two different LCD panels even now.one OK, one utter garbage.

Just as good as an Apple or Samsung for more than half the price, this is more like a hot deal than those other two rip off makes. I personally would pay £149 from John Lewis for the 2 year warranty.

There you go again, you made a comment on an iphone deal about not understanding peoples "apple obsession" and yet you mention apple on a non apple deal, WTF!

I sent JL a price match request yesterday, they agreed for me. I used Laptops direct as the cheaper retailer.

I got a G4 when they first came out. Purchased directly from Motorola. Loved it at first. After less than 3 months I started getting ghost touch. It's been in for repairs twice and is worse than ever. Motorola have refused a refund and I am now having to make a Section 75 claim from my credit card. Avoid like the plague.
