That's £200 cheaper than Moto are selling it for and £150 cheaper than Tesco. This is hotter than a hot cross bun that has been dropped in a volcano. Cheers.

Yes, it's surprisingly laggy in normal operation compared to phones with lesser specs.

There is a simple solution for this.

Once upgraded to latest Marsmallow (Android 6.0) do this:
Power down the phone
Once powered down
Press volume down and power button (at the same time) until you see android logo and full phone spec.
press volume down to select "Recovery Mode" then confirm by pressing power button
Motorola logo will show up, than android logo with text "no command"
now pres at the same time volume up and power button - if nothing happens try it again until you see "Android Recovery" with couple of options.

Press volume down 4x times to select "Wipe Data/Factory Reset"
confirm by pressing power button.
Press volume down twice to select "userdata+ personalized content"
confirm by power button.

Once done
Repeat procedure but this time select "Wipe Cache partition"

Power up your phone, set it up, run all of the updates from play store etc
New / reset android phones do some stuff in background for first couple of hours so it could be still laggy for a while.

After a while you can enjoy lag free super fast phone. - tested myself just now on Moto X Force from CPW.

Solution works on most of the android phones - not just this one.

Obviously... this will delete all of the personal data and settings and will leave yours phone in the "out of the box" condition.

.
One more thing that speed up android phones
Go to:Settings >About Phone
Scroll down
Click 5-7 times
Go back and you will see just activated "Developer Options"
Click on it and find:
Window Animation Scale
Transition Animation Scale
Animation Duration Scale

Change all of them to "Animation off"

As you may thought this just turns off "nice" animations - while opening, closing app etc.
But speeds up opening time so the phone is much more responsive.

Couple of pics of the brotect applied to my moto x force. They really are very good. I popped out the cut-outs for the sensors, microphone and speakers (you can bend the glass to raise the edge and put a small blade under to pop them out.

I always fit mine in a cold kitchen, lay some sheets of kitchen paper on the table and then spray them with water/dettox to keep any dust in the area trapped, alcohol wipe the screen and wipe with dry screen cloth.

To align it I use the hinge method - two sticky tabs on the back of the phone that then flap over and stick to the screen protector when it is perfectly aligned.

fold the protector away from the screen a quick final clean and blast with air can (£1 in poundland ;) )

Peel the backing from the protector and then flip onto the screen - perfectly aligned and dust free (hopefully!)

Then remove the alignment tabs and push out the last few bubbles.

Perfect. Very satisfying :D

For £300 this looks an insanely good phone on paper, you could buy something better from China, but they typically have quirks.. (My siswoo is stuck on android 4) ... I'd love to know if there's a reason its that cheap...

I've been considering this for ages, had to take a punt on this at this price. £450-500 everywhere else.

Indestructible is pretty impossible.
Yes, you could smash it with a pick axe, but you deserve all you get with that.
This phone's screen will survive when others just shatter. simples

It's true that it will survive longer than other phones. I just know if I bought it, then it would break. Murphy's Law.

What is your battery life like? I get like 4 hours SoT a day and even if i needs charging up after like 20 minutes its at 70% again, never had an issue with the battery!

Camera won't be as good but it will be a much better built phone as well as it having a 'better' processor and stock/vanilla android mostly which is a much much nicer experience than LG's abomination of their android skin.

Good review HERE. They do give it 4/5 at RRP, with this reduction in price, I would imagine that may change somewhat, considering one of the negative points in the review was the price!

But just a quick bit about the battery from those that have questioned it.....

With general use, a couple of hours streaming podcasts, about 40 mins of solid browsing and around 10,000 quick visits to WhatsApp, the phone still had 35 per cent left at 10:30pm. You’ll only get Motorola’s claimed “two day” stamina if you don’t use your phone for anything taxing. But that’s always the case with these bold claims.

Playing back a 720p movie on loop and doing nothing else, the Motorola Moto X Force hit the bullseye too, lasting for around 15 hours 30 minutes. It’s up there with the Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ as an Android stamina trooper.

This is down to the epic 3760mAh battery, which is even larger than the Moto X Play’s.

Charging speed is incredibly quick too. The Motorola Moto X Force uses one of the latest variable voltage chargers, able to get you from zero percent to 80-90 per cent in around an hour. That’s dead quick for such a massive unit.

Mines fine, 1st 10% goes fast then its pretty slow to drain

1st rule, after a big update, do a full reset, 2nd rule never restore from play store back up, always do a fresh install.

I'm at about 20% brightness.

Good phone for the money but I normally don't keep a phone long enough so not the best deal for me as I won't use the 4 year warranty that this comes with. But if you looking to keep this phone for a long time this is a deal for you. Personally I like a all metal build and fingerprint sensor I would go for the the nexus 6p but I do appreciate this phone for what it is hot.

I don't really have the exact figure for my SOT but I would guess about 3 hours from 100% charge. I do use the phone for gaming, browsing and chatting. By around 4-5pm I would be down to less than 20%.

The turbocharger is great but it's inconvenient to really carry it everywhere I go. I have a portable battery but obviously the phones takes a really long time to charge this way.

I came from a Sony Xperia Z3 and still had 40-50% by the end of the day with the same usage. This phone was a beast when it came to battery life but the design IMO is looking really dated now that's why I opted for Motorola.

Great price I just bought the moto x style yesterday for £325. I could return it but I don't regret it even after seen this deal. I like the larger screen and the super slim bezils. The bezils on the moto x force are pretty large compared to the style and I hear from some reviews that because of the shatterproof screen they can see a small gap between the screen and the glass. That would annoy me too much over time. The only thing I wish the style had is that large battery but overall I still prefer the style. Heat added though for the price.

I just bought an X style too (got mine for £299 though! (_;)) unless you really need the shatter proof screen they are pretty similar and the style has a bigger screen so i'm still happy with the style!

Awesome price, I wanted this since it was released, but could never justify paying that kind of money.

This has almost double the battery size when compared to X 2nd gen so that should be really good.
