Motorola Motofone F3 Blue £29.95 + £10 top-up on Virgin

Don't really mind if you vote this cold as it is not such a bargain when compared to the Phones4u offer and possibly locked as well, but if you really must have blue...

I'll wait for the while/silver one.

See previous posts on F3 for spec, just the same but blue

Aye it is, but if some people just must simply have blue to match their undercrackers or whatever

And also only because phones4u were so blessed cheap in the first place.

lots of happy punters in the original posts, mine has replaced my LG as my daily phone - sometimes people just want to talk, which it does perfectly.

Thanks for the heads up sburley but as you said in your post probably not worth it when compared to the phones4u offer.

Work selling phones day in day out. Wouldn't wish this one on my worst enemy. For something thats supposed to be designed for ease of use and simplicity its the most frustrating phone I have ever used.

Whats the texting issue?

Whats the texting issue?
The screen shows something like 6 characters a screen.

I'm keeping mine as a emergency/orange wednesday phone.

I can use it, my mum can use it, my nan can use it, a farmer in rural Rajasthan can use it, but a phone salesman finds it a bit difficult...

... go figure? :whistling:

Had one of these for just under a week now and its absolutely horrible, really
temperamental phone mines difficult to even switch on and takes a lifetime to register itself with vodafone, really cheap feeling, lacks quality.

Had one of the ones from phones4U since Tuesday and sure it can't do texting well but that's hardly an issue for me. It can make phone calls which means it'll do fine.

If all you expect from a phone is the ability to make calls it will do fine for you.

Carphone warehouse totally crap company & I notice there over charging on the phone. Sorry for the gripe just find that company hard to swollow. :-(
