Damn vodafone, it was £8 before!

classic phone. Never seen the price lower than this.
It was £20 from orange and that was around 6 months ago! Voted cold I'm afraid!
The Sony ericsson K550 deal on orange for £30 was a much much better deal a few months back. I got a Motorola V3 for my mum for £20 and a Sony K550i for my little bro at £20 - both good phones but separated by several generations (i.e. 2mpix cam vs 0.3 mpix).

Title needs changing. 36-5(quidco)=31. Am I missing something:thinking:

good price

Great phone + deal. Heat Added.

this isn't even a V3i, just a bog standard old V3. Not very expensive I guess, but I'm not sure why these things are still so popular
#17
Just a heads up that these mobiles have issues with a buzzing sound which can be heard when the backlight is on. It's not terrible, but it's annoyng. The mobile has nice design, feels solid, but features are old by today's standard.
#18
its a rubbish phone, i wouldnt bother, you can get a z310i for that much at vodafone
#19
This is a good price, but not really a deal - the £30 W810i or £12.98 W377 were MUCH better deals.
#20
Bought one of these months ago on the Orange site for £22.

£14.99 to unlock !

Voted cold!

You're supposed to be voting on the deal not how much it 'might' cost you later :?
FWIW it can be unlocked for a lot less than £14.99

Voted hot, don't see the need to compare it with deals that were around 6 months ago, surely if you can't buy it cheaper now then its a good deal!
#26
rubbish . this phone is at least 5 years old ... and at 30+ pounds, you can definitely find better 2nd hand for a newer model. freezing colld.

ive never had any problem with buzzing neither has anyone else i know who has one buzzing can be caused by interference of other devices. This phone can be unlocked for free but its not for the novice you have to downgrade the phone then flash it.
Heres a link to a torrent site that has the relevent software and is the right stuff as i have it if you dont know what a torrent site is or how to use one google it.

I don't particulary like this phone but it's certainly better than most others at this price so in that case voted HOT!
#35
I've had this phone for 2.5 years and still like it.
It is sturdy, seems unbreakable.
It is slim for the pocket and
It is still stylish .
I have other more modern phones but this the most convenient if all you want
to do is phone and text.

Even if this comes unlocked for the quoted price, it is not worth !

Similar deal with V3i would be reasonable

Have you unlocked with this?
#39
I bought one of these from a special offer from this site over a year ago (£39.99 with £10 credit unlocked).
Used it for a couple of days and couldn't get used to it - it felt to wide after being used to my nokia 8310 so it went in the drawer and I went back to the nokia.
Bought a Sony Erricson w810i from this site back in november and finally decided to sell the Motorola to a friend for £25 and he totally loves it.
So it's a personal thing, some people will love it, others won't.
Voted hot coz it's a decent price for what it is.

yeah its been a while from what i remeber you downgrade it to a version you can flash and depending on the version that tells you what software is to be used.
