  Any good for gaming? It doesnt have a Tegra chip after all. Can it be easily rooted and is Jelly Bean coming to it...all have to be contributing factors as it is up against the Nexus.

  decided to not go for it, no expandable storage. also i want this to play films on tv and reviews state it can struggle sometimes.

  Ah, I only see the add to basket button when I use IE rather than Firefox. Strange...

  Seems there is no ICS for this device and the bootloader is locked, meaning no custom rom.

  nice spec on this device but unfortunately android devices can be so easily crippled with the software and this will likely never reach jellybean and may not even get official ICS. Much safer with a nexus 7 which currently performs much better than any other (android) tablet you can buy, will get updates from google and because of its success will likely keep its value well and have a huge community support.
  
  I would only say go for something like this if you really need your device to connect to your TV and don't mind that you are buying a device that will perform a lot worse than something you can get for a similar price. (also 2nd hand price for this will likely fall quickly)

  There's better cars on the road than my 10 year old pickup truck but I love it, use it everyday and will run. It into the ground. It also does everything I require it to do much like my Motorola Zoom.

  Is the original better than it's bigger brother?? I just got a Xoom for £135 brand new, but for £15 more wouldn't it be worth going for number 2??
