  I did notice the best before 31st July 2012 BUT thats a best before and not use by and the one I bought instore I'm 99% sure was at least until the end of august, I'm going tonight so will check instore and confirm :)

  Good deal, heat. Shame about this stupid 'UK Version' they do with Mountain Dew though - it's inferior in taste! Why not just release the American version and let it be the problem of the customer if he drinks too much of it!

  It's the corn syrup sweetner I think. We use sugar here, on the plus side sugar holds the carbon better making for fizzier pop. US variants have a tendency to be a bit flat or go flat very quickly.
  
  It seems to be a case of wanting what we can't have as soda lovers in that states will go for EU cans every time if they can get them.
  
  There was a really good episode of obsessives on Chow a while ago, an interesting watch if you can spare ten minutes;

  How do you deep fry p*ss? Surely itd just mix with whatever oil you were frying it in meaning you'd just be drinking really hot vegtable oil with a bit of p*ss in it

  I have about 10 cans left from the crate I bought 2 weeks ago, and can confirm 31/07/2012 as the best before. Not like they turn into a pumpkin at midnight though!
