Marked down from £24.99 (RRP £34.99)!

The Hut has failed to come through on my order for the inferior Targus model of this item at about the same price, so I am going for this one. Yes, it is kind of a dumb idea, but not too much to pay for a quirky gadget if you like that sort of thing. Remember to select Super Saver delivery.

£4.99 + £2.99 UK delivery ( cannot choose Super Saver)

Maybe Amazon ran out of the "delivered by" stock, or the merchant changed their mind but now it says

£4.99 + £2.99 UK delivery
In stock. Sold by Safield Dist. Ltd

so is not eligable for supersaver delivery.
Thanks to chapchap for pointing this ouit

Looks like they changed the delivery options. I got free super saver when I ordered. Same supplier too, but is it still "fulfilled by Amazon"? -LP

Read ALL the reviews. At least one reviewer says it works on Windows 7. There seems to be a bit of competence or at least persistence required to install it. Anyway, I am still running XP, and compatibility with existing tech is one of my reasons for that.

The most random combination of features on a product I've ever seen. "I'll just check that for you sir, oh actually, I can't because I'm using my mouse to talk to you with".

What's next, a keyboard that doubles as a shredder?

What pointless junk, so lets see, you are on the phone and need to look up something in your on-line diary, oops sorry got to put the phone down to user the mouse DOH!

The idea of having less gadgets on your desk is good in principle. But as others have pointed out, there will be times when you need a mouse while on the phone.

Yeah, I said it was dumb. Like a tennis racket with a compass built in. But it's a cheap fix for a gadget freak.

Are there any gadget freaks in here?

This isn't the only mouse/phone either. At least two companies make them.

I'd buy that, if it was cheap.

At least 10 happy bunnies on Amazon like it. For £5 it seems a cheap way of trying out a VOIP phone with your system, as one bloke said he bought it specifically for. And was really impressed by the call quality. I might have given it a go if the one review that mentioned Vista, said it refused to work. Seems to work with WIn2000, XP and Windows 7. Suggestions that it is more useful for a laptop setup seems reasonable, saves carrying both a VOIP phone and a mouse. Unless you are a "road warrior" when you are likely to need to use both at the same time when out and about trying to con people out of their money for various wares that we could live without, but that is another matter...And assuming you have no mobile phone that you want to use, which is admittedly unlikely, but you have the flexibility of choice, Skype/Voip-mouse or mobile phone, you decide what is best at the time. I do agree with the principle of the gain-sayers, there are some realy stupid pointless gadgets out there wasting the Earth's precious resources. A USB coffee cup warmer being one of them! On the whole they could not melt an ice cube, let alone keep a ceramic or steel mug warm enough to make 1 hour old coffee warm enough to be enjoyable to drink. As if 1 hour old coffee would be that enjoyable in the first place. So what I am saying is, this may not be as useless as some people think, compared with other stuff out there. Thanks to the person posting this for letting us decide if this is useful to us.
