I am just working through this box set and I am delighted with it. Unless you are a Mozart perfectionist and a total audiophile you can't go far wrong with this set, at this price.

An Amazon buyer stated: "The complete piano concertos performed by Carmen Piazzini are worth far more than the price I paid. Also included are the complete piano sonatas yet again performed by Piazzini and two cd's of piano for two pianos with Piazzini and Alfredo Perl"

From same site:
Orchestra: Camarata Labacensis, Camerata Academica, Camerata Academica Salzburg, Camerata Labacensis, Capella Istropolitana, et al.
Conductor: Alberto Lizzio, Alfred Scholz, Anton Nanut, Ernest Bour, Francesco Macci, et al.
Composer: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Here's a link to a Wikipedia page covering one of Mozart's most loved pieces (on disc 2)... http://tinyurl.com/7rwzsx

thanks for the link - this looks good but ... I don't understand how they can include so much on each disc. For example CD number 15 contains a whopping FIVE operas (duration approx seven hours). How do they do that?

It's not a dreadful "Readers Digest-style" edited highlights of each piece , is it? :?:

You can get the 'full' Mozart on 170 CD's for around £45. I haven't got a link at the moment but the come up on ebay, amazon.co.uk marketplace, and even HMV, just keep an eye on those sites. This set (from Brilliant Classics) has all complete operas, symphonies, concertos, Requiem, etc. everything the man has ever written and it's good quality too.

Errrr why on earth would you do that?

Anyway pretty good collection, not sure about it as I only like a few of his pieces, may get it though, should make for pretty good background music.
