This is the original TV series.
I already rented this from Lovefilm, but at this price (£9 / 5DVDs or £1.80 / DVD + Quidco) I had to buy it! :-D

What's not clear? 'Live' means 'live action', as in the original tv series and not the much more recent (but not nearly as good) cartoon that was shown on kids channels. It is entirely clear what you're getting. Though by all means don't stop your inability to understand a simple description from making you vote a very good deal cold

Live as in Live on stage/concert etc, it does not state that on the box, so slighly miss leading:lol:

Has there ever been a Mr Bean show live on stage? Not to my knowledge. He has done live standup both as himself and Blackadder (briefly), and there is that drums sketch he did. But nothing I recall as Mr Bean. You can't buy what has never existed

Yes, but it has a real picture of him. This really isn't rocket science. There is a live Mr Bean show and a cartoon. This is the live show. Hence why both descriptions say 'live'. You're suggesting that the descriptions are misleading and confusing this with a product that has never existed, which is just silly. Use your common sense.

One last time. 'Live' means liveaction, as opposed to a cartoon. Providing you understand what those words mean, and have ever seen Mr Bean, you cannot possibly find the descriptions misleading.

And so it goes on and on........................

Description in op title/hmv site says "Mr Bean Live: Volume 1/2/3/4/5: 5dvd - £8.99 @ HMV". Where does it say "live action" lol:

This would be where your common sense should creep in. There has only ever been a live action TV show and a cartoon. Never a stand up or equivalent version. So by 'live' it means the TV show, as opposed to the cartoon. It is not a great feat to make that connection. If you need everything absolutely spelled out to you by the letter then you're really going to encounter far more issues in life than a 'misleading' HUKD topic.

Incidentally, and lest this discussion be seen as entirely detached from the thread, I would like to mention that I have actually purchased a copy of this. Greatly looking forward to reliving a classic series.

So if it is not LIVE, that means the op/hmv description is totally wrong and misleading, i will not change my decision on that! When i decide to purchase something from anywhere i like to know exactly what iam going to be spending my hard earned cash on and i would always make sure the item/product is as advertised. this would be case for most sensible people!!!;-)
I hope u enjoy you're Mr Bean original tv series(Not Live, as wrongly described!!!).

I'm sorry but your post is entirely misleading. Contrary to what you have put there, I am not Mr Bean original tv series and therefore cannot enjoy being it, though despite me never existing as that and it making no sense you could still have meant that. I will own a copy of the Mr Bean original tv series, but that cannot be what you meant because you wrote 'you're', not 'your'. I hope someone can clarify for me exactly what you mean, because as it stands now I refuse to exercise my common sense and cannot possibly determine what you actually mean. Of course I could exercise my common sense, but any sensible person would be certain of exactly what a person means in their post before typing a reply, so I'll wait for the clarification. Obviously once someone does clarify the situation for me I will continue to rant about how totally wrong and misleading your original post was, because that won't be annoying at all.
