I've just found this is our local Heron (Whitby) for £2.49. I thought it looked like a bargain and I am partial to the odd cake and now have completely screwed up my diet and exercise regime, would love to know if its a hot deal therefore worth the screw up??? This would make a great little girls birthday cake.

These are awful, plain dry spongecake inside. The normal size ones are ok, but these are boring !

Just as well we're voting on the deal and not likes/dislikes to the product itself.

Ha! I saw these and resisted! Heron is a den of temptation, thank Heavens they have run out of the Haagen Dazs!
Did you see the Basa fillets in tempura batter? A huge bag full for 99p - totally delicious, and much healthier!

I've seen a white one on sale also at Baker J's in Warrington market who has these for about £3 (local I know).

If you're a big fondant fancy fan you'll be a little disapointed I think, its like one of those generic birthday cakes that supermarket sells with that fondant icing and sponge, it even has jam and cream in the middle as if you think about it a giant fondant fancy wouldn't work, as it'd be to cakey
