my son likes these, the woman however says it is more fun to buy them individually rather than get the whole lot in one go?

fun for her maybe because it is me who has to pay the £2 per book or however much it is.

i may find myself getting this for both my son and for ideal toilet reading for when you are in a hurry.

We have this collection of books - and they are loved by both my son and daughter (6 & 3).

The stories are quite long really in comparison to our shorter fairy story collection. We've had the collection for 4 years now, and they are still in use.

This is a good buy, and I'd definately buy the collection and save yourself some money!

I bought some more books for my kids the other day and got some of the 'newer' characters.
Mr Cool and Little Miss Stubborn are very disappointing as are most of the new range.
Me & my daughters prefer the old school Mr Men because they have much better stories.

they are always this price at book people - it is not really a deal as this is what they always sell them for?

How does this work - when does that auction end?
#11
is this a legit site as they want my credit card details before I can bid!

Yes, that's what I thought, but lookling a bit closer it appears to be a falling price auction, so the price can only go down.
#13
just for your info that site thinks these will sell for £40 with delivery of £7.99 so the £29.99 delivered is a good deal

It shows as a falling price auction, but everything else indicates that the price will go up. I'll wait and see what happens. :whistling:

Coincidentally The Book People were in my work yesterday and I bought this very box set for my six year old son. It was priced at £25. Not sure why it's £29.99 online but I guess the extra fiver covers the "free" postage!

Still a good deal as these normally go for about £45 on eBay.
