Just looking for prices on MR16 (GU5.3) LED lamps and came across these, reduced from £3.07. These are non dimmable, they have decent prices on other wattages too, including the 5 lamp multipacks. Read More

Beware if replacing halogen MR16's with LED's. Depending on your transformer on some lights you could end up with really bad flicker. It's all to do with the load the transformer is expecting compared to the LED's. Had nightmare with mine, eventually went back to using halogens.

That's correct, you need to replace the transformer with an LED compatible one.

Cheers for the heads up.

I'm in the process of changing all my house bulbs over to LED's, and the bathroom has 4 MR16 spots which are next to change... but might just buy one bulb first and try it, rather than lump on 4 and find out I need to change something else.

Also, bought some GU10 LED's (7 in total) from Poundland about 2-3 weeks ago, and one has failed already.
