Ok so long time lurker first time poster but i had to share this.

I also know there will be a big cry that if your a student/nhs that you can get this cheaper but here it is office 2010 home/student eddition 3 licence and media(DVD) dont be fooled by the slightly cheaper 1 licence code which you only get a peice of card at £59. so thats potential saving with the dvd in hand. And with the price of computers these days im sure alot of you out there will have more than one computer that would require this product. The limits are that the pc's are in the same house hold and that you can only install it on three PC'c only. thats three diffrent pc's not three installs on the same PC. also you should not use this product if your making profit from its as the licence dosent cover that.

Can comment on how Good/Bad it is as im still on 2007 but there it is and it dosent have outlook access or publisher. but most people dont know what they are let alone how to use them

what he said. cheaper.
#4

funny was looking at this yesterday as whilst openoffice is great its gui/setup/look and feel is alot different to office and doesnt help my son

looked at viglen 1st and seemed a palarver to get authorisation, so went to sware students and downloaded a trial 1st and sons school is on their database

FINALLY theyve recognised that primary school kids are in education too!!

compliance is alot easier as they at least have a darn database with accepted organisations, so acceptance for most should be instant.....also this is the full suite rather than the ops' student version

ops deal is good though

Ok so a lot of you are saying cheaper at "software4students" and better
You are right but thats not what my post said

You can only buy from software4students if you have an academic email address. Or are a student. The rest of the population is out of luck.

so for the rest of the NON student population the deal on Amazon is the best

So to iterate again for anyone who isn’t with the NHS or a student this is a good deal

and although it says student in the title of the software it is for home non profit use. IE every one who isnt using it for profit

True, but 'student' is perhaps the wrong comment. The Software4Students offer is valid if you have children, even if they are at primary school.

I don't think it is worth anyone posting a deal for MS Office, unless it was being given free with the Daily Mail (and then you'd get comments about the paper).

You get several camps of interested parties:
- those people who are eligable to get a student copy for themselves or their offspring to use,
- those people who get one of those regardless of eligability,
and
- those who want the best price for an honest purchase of the software to use, who don't fall into either of the previous groups.

Inevitably, people from the last group who would vote this deal hot will get voted down by those in the other two groups.

Actually, it's about the going rate for this version of Office.

re: academic email address - WRONG!!

agree otherwise for non students

they finally listened as i complained about this because under the ultimate deal site you needed an academic address- i said this is grossly unfair to primary/secondary school children who prob need this more than uni kids in the essence of learning as aearly age as possible!!

you dont need an academic address, just a child who goes to a school/uni/etc

my comment wasnt stupid you moron, am i supposed to be psychic

you said "this one gives 3 licenses, the link you have gives 2 but fo the same money you can get 4 licenses"

so where exactly did you state 2 x the pro version gives you 4 licences

youd make a poor director or project/programme manager or business analyst with that kind of pyschic logic and youd probably run your own company by telepathic comms

cheaper using HUP scheme at some corporations (paid under £10 for complete Office 2010 on mine) :)
#17
Still hoping this drops to the prices that Office 2007 Home & Student used to go for, that Amazon had at £48 a long time ago.
#18
This is a good deal for me as I am not a student and do not have children so can not make use of the deals at software4students.
